I did awful yesterday Air Force and Iowa were just killers

I had one of my occasional college ball bets yesterday with BC getting 3.5 from Louisville. It's a quasi standing $50 bet with an old friend that went to Louisville so I didn't think to post it here.

About the only game I like today is Chargers at home -5½ against Denver.

Maybe Jax +3 at Carolina, perhaps buy it up another point. Thinking about Baltimore -3 at Pittsburgh too.





As for next week, Bucs, Chargers, Lions and Titans are possibilities if next week's games open with these same numbers.

That was my first thought as well. It's just that Detroit has been so inconsistent the last year or two, I've become a bit gun shy with that team.

Meh, I suspect over the years that geography vs alumni based bet has probably cost me more than it's made me but it's one of those things where it's really more of a touchstone for us to catch up with each other when they play. I'm doing some line watching ATM to either make new or offset already made picks. I don't usually waste anyone's time posting bets I've offset. As of right now because of what I perceived as attractive early lines I'm sitting on KC -8, AZ +4.5, NE -14 and TB +6.5. I'm watching for movement on Buff/TN, GB/Dallas and Balt/Pitt. I was kicking Jax/Car around but can't get a feel there. What you got?

Question, where are you able to get opening lines at? My books are usually quick to put up nfl lines, although I’m not sure I get the true opening lines. For college, they don’t post lines until Monday so I miss out on anything I like in the opening which is super annoying a la Iowa yesterday. Opened +7, I would’ve locked that in then and there and bought a half but I had no lines. Ended up with 3.5 and I lose

I'm seriously considering the Chargers, it's just one of those quizzical 'why isn't that higher?' games that make me leery. Watching both Jax/Car and Balt/Pitt for movement

Same. I thought Dallas Would win this game but had a hard time betting Dak against Rodgers as Green Bay has looked better than they did last year. Just have a tough time betting against Rodgers in certain spots. Could’ve taken the 3.5 as I thought that was interesting but tough to do as my gut said Dallas would win. GB about to go up 2 scores

Interesting. I just don't trust Dak's pocket awareness (or rather lack thereof) against a decent rush but with Adams out I was leery of taking the Pack on the road.

I am currently seeing +5 at most spots after looking at +4 to 4.5 yesterday and this morning so it seems the sharp money may be on the other side. Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams will be inactive but they have been for weeks so not much impact there as far as anything new however Cle is dressing Antonio Callaway tonight which will give them a chance to show some different looks. If late money pushes it to +5.5 I may hit it myself but below that I will sit this one out.

I already locked Dallas leading off an If bet ahead of the pats, with the Vikings ML third. The catch is that u bought Dallas from 8.5 to 6.5 at -150. I know you guys will laugh but I feel very confident the cowboys will beat the Jets by at least 7 points.

The browns are getting a majority of the tickets but the number has gone up
