Are we the 85 bears?
Defense has allowed 3 points in 3 games. 0 TDs in 3 games. Team has allowed 5.7 when you include 2 non defense TDs allowed.
Beats allowed 21 defensive (22 total) TDs in 16 games. 12.4 ppg, (11.9 d only)

Bears allowed 258 ypg, 82 rushing yards at 3.7 per carry. 3.38 takeaways and 4 sacks.

We are 199 ypg, 37 rushing at 2.3 per carry, 2 takeaways and 4.3 sacks.

Also we have allowed 5 of 39 third down conversions (13%).

Obviously it’s only 3 games and not a full season but we are so far playing better than the best defense ever.
The Jets and the Dolphins. That’s all that has to be said in response. Let’s talk mid way thru the season and after we play some functional NFL offenses.

That said, I love what I see from the unit thus far.

Again a steady well-called game by BB , Dorsett looked impressive, and he and Burkhead seem to be an excellent tandem, congrats from NO to our Gates buggies in the north, the best to you and your families. We enjoyed watching another well-played game. Pats are off to a great start, and couldn't be more proud of Tom and your boys.
Hope TB can get the TD recorded, we will prey he can.

I get people being upset at Stidham throwing the pick six by WTF was he throwing? I don’t care if the handed the ball off to Sony three times for zero yards then punt. The jets weren’t going to move the ball on offense. That’s what they should have done.

Bad play calling, than a poor decision by the backup QB

Never thought I'd ever say this but I'll have what Andy's having. Only don't make it a double, I gotta drive tomorrow
Sometimes education requires baby steps. At least you have taken the first step.

Love the defense but the offense I’m slightly concerned about in the early going.

Dorsett is emerging which is big news for us and much needed. However Josh Gordon still seems a little rusty out there but hopefully that will improve despite still putting up respectable numbers on the surface today.

What concerns me is Sony Michel and perhaps the run blocking as a whole. I can’t speak for how the OL played in that regard but Michel has had two duds thus far and can’t seem to break a tackle to save his life.

The 85 bears played a lot of bad teams too. They had 3 games all season of 3 points allowed or less.

Hate to break it to you Andy but I already know how to drink.
And thanks to @Patjew I no longer feel awkward when I do it like a beast.

Wow. Pretty amazing for a few reasons.

First, I'm surprised the Patriots didn't have the most wins in the 2000s.

Second, it shows how dominant those Colts teams were with Peyton during the regular season. Only one title during that stretch has to be tough to stomach as a fan.

Finally, having two amazing decades of record breaking wins will likely never be matched. That's an all time, unbreakable record, type of stretch.

We did win the most games in the 2000's decade just not the most regular season games.

Not to nitpick but I thought it was actually a good decision. Just a bad throw. Even Brady has had those

The last 4 include the Rams and Steelers also.

If I recall they gave up only 3 to the 500 point Rams in the last game last year...... Nobody has scored a TD on the Patriots D in over 4 games.

"Not prepared Stidham?? Not prepared!? I can get a kid from Foxborough High that knows he needs to be prepared.. Probably wouldn't throw a pick6 either, ************."

He might knock that down to Foxboro Junior High for that. I mean this is the who guy thinks that Foxoboro High QB would do better than TB.

What do you want from me? Am I not allowed to criticize the kicker? The guy is an elite kicker and has shown to be inconsistent at times. XPs are a gimme in the NFL. These are basically 33 yard field goals, which should be money for him. I'm not panicking, just concerned.

XPs haven't been a gimme in the NFL since the league moved the kicking spot back.

Part of the decision there is to make damn sure that, if you miss, you miss low.

Drinking isn't for everyone but if it's for you, do it right.

He overthrew an open receiver, which NFL QBs have done a million times. It’s his 3rd pass in his first game. Even TB has overthrown receivers many times. Stidham threw off his back foot and he didn’t have to. So he learns.
At least Stidham has his first NFL highlight.

Missed XP. Almost missed another XP. Punt return fumble. That qualifies as stunk in my book. Now you may not agree with me. So be it. But it's a message board.

You're a "throw the baby out with the bathwater" kinda guy..

Ignore the punt coverage. Ignore the kick-offs. Ignore the FG. SMH

everyone should believe in something...

I believe I'll have another double Scotch on the rocks...

I love that expression. I only prefer "cutting off your nose to spite your face."

and the always cogent "don't stick your lower unit in a meat grinder"
