What was the penalty called on that snap?
“False start, entire offensive line except the center.” Michaels and Collinsworth were chuckling through the whole thing.

Illegal procedure on "everyone but the center."

False start is part of the illegal procedures penalties, including formations, oob plays, etc. But thanks.

Let's talk Mike Tomlin for a moment. Aside from the rather shocking FG from the 1 yard line, down 20 points, there was the halftime comment as relayed by the sideline reporter. Asked about adjustments for the second half, Tomlin rejected the whole idea, saying "it's not the scheme, it's the quality of execution."

My jaw dropped. Down 20 at the half, and no adjustments planned? No accountability? Just declaring yourself perfect and blaming your players? o_Oo_Oo_O

He was out of his mind last night- reacting to plays before they happened. Think he had a PBU where he actually got to the spot before the WR did.

I thought he was our best defender last night.

Hightower and Jones stood out as well.

Our DBs are going to be sick this year.

I actually don't really have a problem w/ Tomlin kicking a FG. It made it 20-3. They got a stop. If they had converted the 4th-1 and got a TD it would have been 20-10 in the middle of the 3rd.

No need to panic at that moment.

Calhoun played 81% of the snaps? Didn't see that coming.

I guess they really like him.

It would be very helpful if the Patriots would force feed a few passes in Michel's direction this upcoming week. Teams need to at least believe in the possibility of the Patriots not running the ball with Michel on the field.
No im saying michel was ineffective compared to burkhead.

Get points at that stage of the game - Michaels was over the top with his criticism of it.

I'm thinking that going for the FG in that situation is the panic move and sends the wrong message to your team. I know it made me feel better when they kicked the FG rather than go for the TD.

It can be viewed either way I guess.

yesterday was the best example that coverage >>> pass rush. We didn't even get pressure but defense still dominated. Ben had nobody to throw to.

Apparently also core ST player. Another find on the scrap heap from BB.
Yep.

Another data point when evaluating who might be cut.

He looks to be part of their plans.

On the Cannon injury good thing we are playing a Team that has already mailed it in.
