Not sure I’ve seen a pick that high get cut so soon since that Vikings player from years ago.
Oh he can draft. He can also find the UDFA like no one else can.But I thought Bill Belichick the GM was killing BB the head coach, and that BB doesn’t know how to draft?

Just don’t expect much in the second round.
Adrian Klemm, Chad Jackson, Terrance Wheatley, Ron Brace, Jermaine Cunningham, Ras-I Dowling, Tavon Wilson, Aaron Dobson, Jordan Richards, Cyrus Jones and Duke Dawson all say yikes.Gronk says yo
In one of Michael Holley’s books (War Room, I think), he mentioned that the Patriots 2nd round strategy is to take guys with 1st round talent but for various reasons haven’t been able to put it together. That explains most of those guys on the list plus the successes as well (Gronk, Collins, Wilson, Light, Vollmer). It doesn’t explain the safeties and slot corners though.Adrian Klemm, Chad Jackson, Terrance Wheatley, Ron Brace, Jermaine Cunningham, Ras-I Dowling, Tavon Wilson, Aaron Dobson, Jordan Richards, Cyrus Jones and Duke Dawson all say yikes.

Not necessarily justifying this strategy by the way. It’s clear they still approach the 2nd round this way though even 2 decades later.
