Now that the 4th preseason game is in the books and the 53 man deadline has passed, we can turn our focus to the Steelers. Please post all Pittsburgh related matchups/analysis here. Honestly, I haven't really been following them this summer. It should be easier to beat the Steelers without Bell and Brown, but we lost opening night to KC a few years ago pretty badly...

I think the Steelers hold the record for watching the most championship banners raised by opponents

My wife and I will be there wearing our Ben Watson jerseys we got on sale for 10 bucks after he got released in 2010. We will be reaping the benefits of luck and patience :)

The bargain seeker in me approves of this bigtime!

Intricate game analysis:

1-0 :D

Besides Smith-Shuster, Montreif, and Conner, what weapons do they have? Not nearly as scary a team as in years past...

The Colts will hang their Cut-Down to 53 banner before their first game.

So thrilled the season is starting in a few days. I was pissed that they were denied the opening game on Thursday but now it's a blessing, I have to work late on Thursday.
I am really excited about the D this year , They should be really really good . I haven't felt this way in a few years.

Steelers D has a lot of talent there. Also removing personalities like Bell and Brown may open the door for a more cohesive team. Tomlin remains to be a clown in the room though.

Should be a fun one. I predict a somewhat lower scoring, grind-it-out type of game that looks very much like week 1 of a season with some hiccups along the way. Pats 20 Steelers 14.

Eh. I'm getting all psyched but am trying to remember half this board will be on suicide watch by end September :D

Everybody remember, whatever happens in the opener. We. Lose. Games. Early.

Or very, very late. :(

Still think the nfl messed up not giving us the browns on thursday. Packers bears is bleh and browns would be far more exciting than Pittsburgh again.

Can you make that Pats 23 Steelers 14 so I can keep my blood pressure down? Thanks.

Can't wait to see AB... Oh never mind.

I’m not as concerned about them as I am in most years, but I still think they’re a formidable opponent. Plus, NE tends to get off to some slow starts, play tight, and shoot themselves in the foot early on. I think that may be a bigger issue than what’s going on with Pittsburgh. Hopefully, they can avoid having the preseason extended into the regular season, this year.

On offense, they’ll go through Connor and Smith-Schuster. On defense, they’ll look to mix things up more like we saw in December. The additions of first round LB Bush and third round CB Layne will bring some athleticism and physicality to the defense.
