Just a heads up for all of you wondering how to watch the Pats replays...

Pluto TV

If you have a device that streams Pluto TV, you can watch on your television. Quality is lacking, but the price is right. Pats vs Jets from 12/21/14 is coming up tonight.

For all of you cord cutters, take a look at this...

Amazon Prime: Something for Everyone

Thanks for the heads up! I have checked out the pluto channel on my Roku device, never noticed NFL Replay on there. Wonder if it's on there full time now? Also just saw Foxsports is on there, never noticed that one there either.

Just got an email tonight. Sounds permanent. I have a Recast and OTA plus Pluto is pretty solid FREE TV.

Does it just stream the NFL network (which is cool) or does it also have replays on demand?

Gonna check it out...thanks, Dude.

Thanks for the update. We cut the cord after last season. Directv just got too expensive, and their service got really bad. When I called to cancel, their response was, oh, ok, see ya. Got roku and over the air. Reddit is my source for about half of the games that won’t be available over the air in my area. Only thing I gave up was the ability to record. Pluto tv is pretty cool, a lot of streaming content and a nice library of on demand.

It's actually LIVE TV. It just takes that long to arrive from Pluto. ;)

I've been a cord cutter for many years. For $5-6/month I do cbs all access from September-December for a grand total of $24 for the regular season. (I usually go out to a bar or house party for playoff games/superbowl). As far as I'm concerned, there's no reason to watch CBS other than Pats games. Their shows stink and I hate the thought of giving them money.

If there's a better deal out there that provides a quality stream, I'm all ears.

are there good ways to watch nfl games live for free?

my bad I mean Pats games for outside the area
Probably more work than it is worth. I used to share antennas with a guy in New Jersey. Each of us had a Simple TV DVR in his home for the other. Worked great, but RSS has folded. You could do this with HDHomeRun products or even (in theory) a TiVo DVR, but you will spend a lot of money for something that is unsatisfactory and unreliable.

Lame. Pluto isn’t even a planet anymore.

Pluto TV was acquired by Viacom a few months ago, so its content offerings are in the process of being upgraded and more integrated with Viacom's IP (i.e., lots of MTV/Comedy Central/etc.)

If they're showing an old Jete game on NFL channel, switch to channel 594 - Eye Candy.

Not really NFL Network.

Something called the NFL Channel. It is showing random old games ( 2010 to 2014 - the most recent i have seen) and 2012 Hard Knocks (Fins).

The real NFL Network is showing/replaying current preseason games and has a morning show. I watched it this season when i was trying NFL Gamepass for a free trial. Too expensive so I cancelled, but did see what NFL Network was carrying.

The Pluto Channel will feed your football jones but not with current stuff, if you are trying to check out the competition.

Pluto is not even a planet anymore! How can they have their own NFL Network feed?

Reddit nfl streams.

Any game that you want although you might have ti try a few different links to find a good one. Skip the ones that ask you to register for some crap.

Truly, a Sports bar with the Ticket is the best option. For $20 - $25 you see the Pats game including drinks and food. Multiply that times 8 or so NE games that are not on national TV and your cost is about $200 for the whole season. Plus, the commercials and delays allow you to take a cursory glance at a few other games while youre there.
