Mike Freeman - Gronk comeback?

Not sure how folks are taking that post and convinced he's coming back. Am I missing something? Seems to me it could be anything. Maybe he'll be a beekeeper now?
I’ll tell you this, the world needs more beekeepers more than it needs tight ends.

I have it as around a 75% chance that he remains retired. The key to me is what does he do? His name is still hot but his window to capitalize on it is not endless. Does he want to get into movies and do they want him? Wrestling/commentator? He seems like a person that loves action and the spotlight. If he can find it then I doubt he comes back. If things do not pan out and his body cooperates I could see him getting the itch to play mid season and considering a comeback. (that assumes Pats have enough cap space to make it worth while)

I think this is well said. I suspect a lot of people think 'If I've got plenty of money, then retire, now I can just go do 'fun' 'enjoyable' things. But, IMHO, the human condition just isn't in sync with that. Fun and enjoyable lose their fun and enjoyable when it's available almost 24/7 (Christmas wouldn't be Christmas if it was 365 days a year). People need some sort of raison d'etre.
So what is, I think, the bottom line if for RG? If he has moved onto other business endeavors that he likes to do, challenging, has a not so easily obtained pot of gold (so to speak) at the end of the rainbow, then he'll probably be good retired. If he doesn't have longer term endeavors then time will see him hear the faint roar of the crowd when he was making the big catch in the big game (which has got to be one serious MoFo mental 'high'). Whether that motivates him to 'come back'? WTFK...

Bees are incredibly important to the environment.

Ive cut way back on my lawn chemicals for that and other reasons.

Sunday 7: Bold Patriots predictions for 2019

7. Rob Gronkowski does not make comeback

The vast majority of people seem to believe Gronkowski will return at some point during the season and that gained even more steam this past week when he caught passes from Brady at UCLA. But, it just seems hard to really see Gronkowski returning. What else does he have to accomplish? What hasn’t he proven already? Also, it would be asking a lot to get his body back into football shape considering how much weight he’s lost since last season ended. It just feels like the tight end is enjoying retirement and that won’t change even when the games begin.

If the world was but a $100K Pyramid tv show, he'd be coming back.

Start a thread about the return of Santa Claus sometime in late November a day or two after thanksgiving.

Everyone knows Santa comes back after Halloween and teleports himself to every mall in the US.

Gronk IS coming back.

Gronk IS NOT coming back.

There, I’m covered :D

PFT 2019 storyline No. 9: Will Gronk come back?

Florio’s source says 40% chance Gronk is back. In past reports, it has been pretty clear that Florio’s source close to Gronk is Drew Rosenhaus, Gronk’s agent. I would assume it is the same here.

Honestly I want Gronk back this year and all but I think considering his injury history if he does plan on coming back I would take the year off and comeback in 2020, but if he plans on coming back just for this year and retiring "officialy" then that's smart but if he plans on coming back to continue playing past this season then the smart thing to do would be to take a year off and come back in 2020 considering his injury history.
