The reality is that Inman has shown at least as much as Dorsett as a receiver. Dorsett's 44 receptions in 2 years as patriot hardly makes him a critical key to the receiving corps.
I won't go so far as to call Dorsett a lock, but amongst the WRs, he has the second fewest question marks going into this season (behind Edelman of course). Everyone else is either a rookie, has an injury history, or is a player who hasn't proven anything in the league yet. Dorsett has at least shown success in this system and seems to have Brady's trust. That already puts him ten steps ahead of anyone new this year.
