I think everyone has been looking at Hunter Renfrow for about 3 years, closing their eyes, and making his orange Clemson jersey morph into Patriots blue. He's not strictly slot, which is of course an advantage. I haven't hear much scuttlebutt over where Hunter might go, but I hope he is available in (say) round 5.

Only if Belichick is letting McDaniels pick the QBOTF because he plans to retire soon. If you look back over what Belichick has said in the past, it sounds like he has absolutely no interest in trying to figure out how to make an undersized QB that runs 10 times a game viable in the modern NFL.

You're assuming that Murray isn't going to curtail his running. He likely will. Even then, he's also a smart runner. He didn't plow head-on into defenders in college if he could help it like Tebow or Cam did. He took what he could get and got out of bounds. Murray is a throw-first, run-second type of quarterback.
