So your argument is that I don’t know what I meant and you do?
Nope. This is a straw man. Two logical fallacies for you, if we're keeping track. You're right on schedule. You know exactly what you meant. You're merely trying to backtrack now because you walked into the proverbial haymaker.
I will say it one more time
The jets were drafting a qb.
They already wasted picks by moving up to 3 when they would have gotten one of the top rated QBs even without a move up.
The move up from 3 to 1 would have been stupid when they were absolutely getting a top rated QB at 3. So I was hoping they wolf threw away next years 1.
Mayfield is basically irrelevant to the conversation and only applicable because the rumor was the Browns were taking him.
I would have loved it just as much if they traded to 1 to take Darnold, or Rosen as well.
No, Mayfield is definitely not irrelevant. You made sure of that when you quoted him in that very post. You then said "please let that happen" regarding a division opponent drafting him. Your attempts to bring up the trade are still red herrings. Your quoted post was a post specifically about Mayfield. If we are to believe you here now, that you think he's a quality NFL quarterback, why would you want the Jets to take him?
The only two plausible explanations would therefore be that you either A) wanted the Jets to draft a quality NFL quarterback or, B) you didn't think he would be a quality NFL quarterback. There is no other explanation outside of those two. So let's try this one again - which one is it? Either answer the question or just repeat after me three simple little words: "I... was... wrong." It's not that hard. It actually feels pretty good to let that go from time to time and is good for one's character.
