Interesting. I guess this kind of discussion is what makes predicting the draft so much fun.6. You’ll be pleased to know that the latest idea I’m working on is Miles Boykin (64) and Andy Isabella (73). Still offense heavy though I’m afraid. With the need at WR and TE and the interest shown in RTs, I just think this will be a majority offense draft on the first two days. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s where the breadcrumbs lead.
I have NO doubt that when the draft ends we will have at least one TE, WR, and OT on the team. The question is when we pick them.
I would LOVE to see Boykin and Isabella though ideally I rather pick up Isabella with one of the 3rd round comps.
Now I have some questions:
Why "lukewarm" on Tillery? I started focusing in on him as soon as I heard the Seymour comparisons. Smart kid, almost too smart maybe. But he sounds like a 3 down player. BTW- One of the reason I really like Lawrence is his rush POTENTIAL. I'd love to see him drop 20 lbs and see him then.
Who is your TE target? If you had YOUR choice of Warring, Knox, Sternberger, Oliver, who would you pick and where? I think Hockenson and Fant will be long gone, and Smith is an HB type not at true TE, and I'm not drafting that position in the first round.
