2019 Pro Days

There aren’t many receivers in this draft with both sub 4.4 speed and excellent 3-cones (which is in the Patriots wheelhouse).

Not a good 3-cone for JJAW at 7.23

Holy crap! You don’t often see this level of athleticism from an offensive lineman. And an Iowa one to boot.

Reynolds is another guy who wasn’t invited to the combine but tore up his pro day. His 7.29-second 3-cone time and 35.5-inch vertical leap wouldn’t be bad for a tight end, let alone a 6-foot-3, 304-pound guard. Bill Belichick has an infatuation with Iowa offensive linemen.

Picking An Offensive Lineman For Patriots In Each Round Of 2019 NFL Draft

Iowa had some athletes last year.

Just doing some last minute research. Mecole Hardman didn’t run agility drills at the combine but ran a 6.75 3 cone (excellent) and a 4.25 shuttle (meh) at his pro day.

Switch to Move TE, or is he not quick enough for even that?

He’s not really big enough. Would need to add at least 10 pounds and he already turns at the speed of an oil tanker.
