2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

Have been for the past few minutes, doing it well too. Honest fans who love the game don't have any trouble giving the devil his due. Sometimes you need to tip your cap to the other guy

At least you kept it close. Washington didn’t even show up...

Boston's passing problems are really affecting the team in this series.

Yes, lot of bad passes, Marchands line was out of sync. They just need to take one there so they need to win the next one.

I’m not exactly an NHL superfan, but it didn’t seem like they played with the same physicality that they brought in game two.

Game 2 was and end to end clinic of speeds, anticipation, and physicality. It’s hard to keep that going...but I think this is going 7 games.

With CBJ hopefully taking out Tampa, this may be the toughest series the Bruins face on the way to the Finals.

Something's going on with that line. They've not been very good so far.

Leafs played a great game and deserved to win. Bruins lowered their intensity level of 10 from Game 2 to about a 6. Need to play with more urgency and aggressiveness. Their passing was awful, Kampfer is a liability (need Miller/Clifton/Moore back), and the top line was garbage. Also, what the hell happened to Chara? I know he's old, but he played pretty well throughout the regular season. It seems as if the old guy cannot keep up with the playoff intensity anymore.

The Leafs are taking a page out of the Lightning book last year focusing on shutting down the 1st line and daring the other lines to score and it's working. Pasta/March in particular have been pretty brutal (other than the pretty goal in game 2). 2nd line (especially Krejci) and the 3rd line have been good.

Need to step it up and win game 4. Going back to boston tied at 2 in what would be best of 3 would be ideal.

Has this been a problem all year and the whole team or more than just one or two guys?

I ask because I noticed Pasta had 3 or 4 mishandled passes and my immediate thought was his hand injury but if this is a bigger problem maybe I'm blaming the wrong thing?

It wasn't a problem for the 1st line prior to Pasta's injury, he hasn't been quite right since coming back. Marchand is definitely not at the top of his game, wouldn't be surprised to hear he is nursing an injury. The special teams were weak in games 1 & 3 and particularly last night they were the difference maker, giving up 2 PP goals is a recipe for defeat. The absence of Moore and Miller is definitely showing on the backline. While they're not necessarily Bourque like back there they are tough veterans with decent puck savvy.

If the score stands they deserve the win ...
Bruins gave a great fight ... it is a great playoff game.
A frustrating game because it feels like we should have won, but we didn't. Winning the next one is so important...

Unreal

I’m rooting for Columbus like I root for the Bruins

Unbelievable. They are kicking Tampa Bay’s ass.

Winning the next one is pretty much the season. They could come back from 3-1 with 2 games on Boston, but it would be a really thin line to walk.

I love the Patriots but there is nothing better than the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Columbus -Tampa Bay is wild.

What an upset, Columbus looked like the better team all series and TB was a 62 win team.
