Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

Kraft apologizes? When I'm his age, if I'm healthy enough to be busted in a prostitution scandal, I think I would be out bragging about it.:D

The hell with Kraft. I hope they send him to jail. First, he lies about it, and now he puts out a “carefully worded” statement that the other NFL owners are going to consider an admission of guilt. And the article is not a very good one. It fails to mention what Kraft was apologizing for or why his conduct was less than the standards expected of him (his own words).

The apparent eagerness by some officials to release these videos forces me to wonder what kind of political pressure is occurring behind the scenes.
Their stance: Damn a measured approach, get the tapes out and deal with the fallout another day.
Not exactly sure the ramifications of releasing evidence to the public without certainty that this evidence is legally admissible.
How confident are the prosecutors right now?
So confident they dialed it down and gave Kraft an easy out.....that he declined immediately.
I mentioned this before and I still believe these public entities involved have to be having liability discussions.

Go the distance...Bob

I havent seen eagerness to release the video.
The only thing I have seen is that the sheriff was asked about it and said according to the law it cannot be released while charges are pending and once resolved if a request is made it must be released unless there is a reason to block it, and there appears to be no reason to block it.
What have I missed? Who is showing eagerness to release it?

Also, the prosecutor described the “easy out” as the offer they give all first time offenders and it’s that Ir go to trial, so I don’t agree it gives any indication of the strength or lack of strength they feel their case has.

Guy on the radio the other day was describing the hoops he must jump through to get action from his wife. Together the couple settled on a "star system" in which the husband would earn a star if he did the dishes, washed the car, picked up the kids from school, etc. And when he accumulated enough stars, he could spend them on what was essentially an al a carte menu
Bob has been charged with a 3 star offense.
Good thing he didn't shoot for 14 stars....he might have died on the table.

My point: We all pay for it in way or another.
I say we either let Bob off or buy more paddy wagons for the annual Valentine's Day purge

Well, fortunately there's such a low crime rate in FL that they can afford to focus on stuff like this. . .

OT: Years ago, I was rear-ended by a drunk driver. The guy was sh*t-faced (noon on a Tuesday). He flunked the sobriety test at the scene. He flunked the breathalyzer at the police station.
Goddammit I already apologized for that a thousand times! You said you’d stop bringing it up!

I was surprised by law enforcement in my hometown. My wife was pulled over and issued a speeding citation. The information was wrong. She was supposedly clocked on another street with a different speed limit according to the written citation. She sent in the paperwork to dispute it in court. The police officer doctored his paperwork! That’s illegal. Crooked bastard. If they are willing to lie in court over a hundred dollar infraction, what corners are they cutting in big cases?

Thankfully, all the false statements about human trafficking are now irrelevant

There's a reason the word "testilying" exists.

A key word in that link: "deadspin." That site hates the Patriots.

With that said, the premise that Kraft didn't specifically apologize for what happened in the Florida spa isn't wrong. Deadspin doesn't have a monopoly on noticing that, though, and their bias against anything Patriots related shines through. Brady could announce tomorrow that TB12 has discovered an independently verified, completely legitimate way to cure CTE and Deadspin would find a way to criticize him for it.

It's true that Deadspin hates NE with a passion, but there is zero wrong with that piece. They hit the nail square on the head both for noticing he didn't actually really apologize for anything and that it was pretty damned pathetic to try to deflect by invoking Myra.

Kind of is.
This board is a hobby. And I use this board to get information and to have discussions about thinks being said that i don’t agree with.
I suppose I could use it to ignore the things I disagree with and gives likes to things I agree with and leave but I find the discussion interesting.

I like to see all viewpoints so I don’t have anyone on ignore. I just scan by him mostly. It’s the writing a novel to reply to every single post in an attempt to always get the final word can become very annoying when your following a thread.

I tried to put myself on ignore but I'm so ignorant I can't figure out how...:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

well...at least it puts to rest the underlying theory behind ES&D...maybe those girls should try lye
