"I'm a football coach, I'm not a doctor. The medical staff is the medical staff. I coach the team, the medical people handle the injuries. They don't call plays, I don't do surgery."

This is my favorite.

After he said "They don't call the plays, I don't do the surgeries". he said... "works out good this way".

Paraphrasing because I can't find the original, but it was fairly recent:

"Bill (Parcells) and I worked together with the Giants, and with the Patriots ... and with another franchise."

I'm not a doctor.

The segment when he trolled michael holleys insanity.

This one is older...from the 2003/2004 season:

When asked what his New Years resolution was:

“It’s the same every year...to try to be as helpful as I possibly can to the media”

“The players that are out there practicing are practicing and the ones that aren’t aren’t”

"I like football"

When queried by a newbie sports reporter for the Globe of Herald, I forget, who asked: "Where do you keep your Superbowl Rings?"

BB in classic BB deadpan fashion: "In a box".

I know what happened, I was there.

We try to score points every drive - I know it dosent always look it

I am not trying to solve the worlds problems

I dont care what the other teams do

There is ****in 80 people between me the guy and Eric

You saw the game. What did we have, 30 penalties called in that game?”

In a game of no defense, we played less

Going golfing today Tom?

Not #1 but funny.

"I can Xerox you a copy of the game plan and you can send it to Kansas City if you want. I'd be easier for all of us".

“It is what it is”. Belichick is the first person I remember using this phrase. Now, it seems everyone uses it.

This is Belichick’s true genius which is so important when coaching football, teaching or just leadership in general: he can take the complex and make it simple.

I believe the original was he is what he is, or you are what you are speaking about players who temporarily look great. Parcells.
