2019 Combine

Tell me about David Long. Seems like a good Pats prospect reading his scouting report. Intelligent sticky press corner.

I’m hoping there’s going to be a run on CBs in the 25-32 range.

Vg man/press. Seems to have a pretty good grasp of designs thrown his way. Ran smooth (only watching clips at work) & plays smooth. Good footwork. Versatile. Hes a PTP

Yeah, he’s one I’ve pencilled in.

DJ and Prime not especially happy with this crop of CBs in drills.

Baker went through the gauntlet drill better than half the receivers did! :D

Anyone look good in the drills? I think we may be looking at ST guys from the DBs this year!

Can’t wait for pro days/free agency/draft

Free agency always transforms how we think about the draft. For sale, a Danny Shelton signing obviously affects Dexter Lawrence. A Jason McCourty signing probably makes me not consider CB until day 3 or even UDFA. And then of course there’s WR. We probably need three to four new WRs so a quiet FA at that position dictates how busy we’ll be in the draft obviously.

And then there’s the BB trade-a-palooza. Always fun to see which former first rounders BB trades for.

Tell, Thornhill, and Redwine all with incredibly explosive jumps. Wow!

You know I try not to fall for some of those one handed catch highlights I remember Dropson having a nice one handed catch in the EZ and look how he turned out.
I want to like Boykins due to his measurables but I don't see any consistent separation with all that athleticism. He is very passive in the way he catches, which leads to him dropping contested catches.

The one thing I can give him credit for is his blocking ability. He is a very willing blocker. Overall not a 1st round or even 2nd round talent IMO.

Unfortunate stumble on Abram's run, but still hit 4.5. I think he plays like a 4.4 player. Impressive angles, huge hits, surprising athleticism. Love everything about the way he plays.

Abram really standing out with his time. Lots of 4.6 plus times
