Julian Edelman doesn't tend to get the credit and respect he deserves around the league, but one former player took notice in a recent ESPN segment, putting him ahead of some notable names which created some controversy.

Curious to see if he can hit this mark at the Combine.

Came here to post the same thing. Thanks for keeping it current in here.

He looked great at the beginning of the year but then he really tailed off. I was hoping to see how he would work out, but maybe he'll drop to a range we're comfortable taking him (perhaps with the comp pick for Butler?) to see if he can regain his form. He'd be a good fit here if he can play more consistently.

What I lack in in-depth football commentary, I try and make up for with saturating the board with relevant tweets. :)

You think he’ll be available late third now? I would like to see him here.

High peaks, low valleys. At his best, he's a pro bowl caliber safety, but at his worst he's a liability -- doesn't sound like a typical Patriots type player. His last few games were not great. Add in an injury, and I see him going in a similar range to Eddie Jackson a few years ago. Maybe I'm wrong, but he's not as NFL ready as some of the other recent Alabama players. Abram, CGJ, Adderly, Rapp, Thornhill, Hooker, and Johnson are probably ahead of him at this point. We'll see.

I think DT in the 3rd or 4th round would be a huge steal. The guy had a rough stretch but very good traits.

Unfortunate. I wanted to see him test.

Probably too hyped as a lottery pick, top 15 but I still really like him. Feel like a few bad plays stick out like that long TD where he looked less than graceful.

I love the potential Chung replacements though. So many of these guys.

If all the big names were available w our 2nd who would take there.

I'm curious to look at the D-lineman and Tight Ends this year. I heard they are both deep positions and with probably our two biggest needs, that's a good thing!!

Read the entire thread. GREAT thoughts from Orlando Brown Jr before the Combine.

EDIT: I copied it all below:

Draft Guru Reamer what's your take of theses Three TE's.

    Jace Sternberger Texas A&M

    Zach Gentry Michigan

    Kaden Smith Stanford

I would like us to get a couple of Y TE's I think Sternberger and Gentry can carry more weigh on their frames and might be sleepers beyond the Top 2. I think Kaden Smith have a Super pair of hands but is molasses slow in the open field. Irv Smith reminds of a much better version of the Criminal a Super move TE in the mold of a Big WR.

DE looks like another Deep position.
