‘Character coach’ Jack Easterby is leaving the Patriots

A setback from which this team will never recover. Holy s###...

Easterby has a direct pipeline with the Spirit upstairs. He knew the owner was headed towards a life of unrepentant sin, so he didn’t extend his contract after last season allowing him to leave once the owner’s fell. Yes, that’s what happened. It makes perfect sense to me. “The Globe” dragged Kraft into its story to grab an additional click or two.

Easterby will be missed as will all the other assistants who left, but their “exodus” was inevitable and unavoidable. Just a lot of men who saw their ambitions blocked. Even men of the cloth have ambitions and move from church to church.

and now..another platitude from that purveyor of the banal....your own Unca Joe Kerr..

"one door closes....another opens..."

Wonder how Bill feels that his owners illegal sexual transgressions drove out one of his coaches. Wonder how someone like Matt Slater or Devin McCourty feels.
“When you see things come out like that you really have to just let it play out,” McCourty said Friday afternoon soon after news broke that Kraft will be charged in Jupiter, Florida with a secondary misdemeanor. “See what it is, what it isn’t, and go from there.”

Yeah, only that doesn't seem to be why he left.

He's changing his name to "Pastor Buck" and opening up the Church of Green Heaven...bless you my son...and be sure to leave $500 cash in the collection basket..PRAISE G Suss!

Is this fact or just supposition by people who will never forgive Kraft for Deflategate?

Because most evangelical ministers I knew wouldn't quit working for someone who did this they'd be trying to reach out to them. Maybe if Kraft was an unrepentant whoremonger like myself that would be one thing, but I doubt Kraft is going to go around busting out libertarian talking points for decriminalizing sex work.
It’s not fact right now. That guy’s just being a jerkoff.

Every offseason, as fans, we wonder what players will leave and who will arrive. So far this offseason is all about coaches, maybe not, it seems to be about Patriots culture, "the Patriots Way".

They've brought a guy in to help Kraft clean up this mess and also serve as the interim character coach. One of his often repeated mottos: Because you are a character doesn't mean that you have character.

it is definitely a bit self righteous and attention seeking to resign over this. I bet he was out the door anyway.
