Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

I suppose he could still get caught going the high end escort route ala Elliot Spitzer, but at least then you still maintain some class and dignity.. you're also less likely to be unwittingly involved in a human trafficking ring going that route.

Spitzer had made many powerful enemies- especially on Wall Street so it was only a matter of time before he was taken down.

In any case, he wasn't even charged, so yes- you could say the high end escort route is the safe bet here.

If it’s just prostitution whatever, but if it’s sex trafficking that’s really ****ed up and hope Bob serves serious time.
He won't. Bob Kraft's check will clear.

In Kraft’s defense though, good luck proving what was considered a massage and what wasn’t.

Unless they have video evidence of intercourse or oral sex, which is a different ballgame.
They don't even need that. Just video of him soliciting it.

I'll believe it when I see it. I find it hard to believe that this place would keep surveillance tapes.
It was a sting the cops were running. The cameras were put there by law enforcement.

The cameras and tapes were part of the sting. Police surveillance.

What is the deal with the "tape" they have? Is he hooking up with a prostitute, or is it just a happy ending after a massage?
It’s a video of a woman giving Kraft a Viagra pill, and then it cuts to some grainy footage of him furiously using one of those penis pumps in an attempt at getting a boner.

So what legal magic does his lawyer do to ensure he never sees the inside of a cell?

He's a billionaire, there is absolutely zero chance he sees the inside of a jail cell over a misdemeanor. ****, it could be a felony and he'd still be fine purely by virtue of his ability to throw money at the problem until it goes away. He'll maybe have to make a few political donations, if that.

I sure as hell don't like it, but the justice system is a whole different animal for people as rich as Kraft. In terms of meaningful legal consequences he's likely to face, this is less significant than you or I getting a jaywalking ticket.

How are they going to have clear cut solicitation evidence if no one could speak English? That’s my question.

If it’s just a hand going up and down under a sheet or something they’d have a pretty shoddy case.

Logistically, I'm annoyed that Kraft put us in a position where we have to "answer" for this as fans.

Morally, I care about as much as if he was caught with weed.

EDIT: I will clarify here that, at the time of this post, I thought the whole thing was pretty much just, "Bob Kraft got a happy ending a massage parlor." Reading more and realizing that it may be part of an enslavement ring certainly changes my perspective and moral considerations. I'm not going to delete the post because it will help remind me not to comment without all the facts in the future. But just wanted people to know I'm not morally ambiguous towards human trafficking.

Haven’t the last few years taught you that the rules are different or at least are applied differently when it is the Patriots?
I don’t disagree with you. But what are they going to do.. take away draft picks? No way. Force him to resign? Over a hand job? No way. Maybe a fine, take a lil break, or a public scolding. That’s all they can do. Owners aren’t dumb enough to think it can’t happen to them cause this is a personal matter and everyone has skeletons.

I don't know that Kraft would go unpunished if this was a high end call girl, but it's a lot easier to work out a deal with the NFL over something like that versus being associated with a human trafficking ring.

Sorry, guys. I went back and deleted my post. I let emotion get the better of me. Don't mean to pile onto the coming ****storm. Carry on. ;)
