My head would explode if we got one of these guys, particularly a Finley, Stidham, Thorson before the 4th. I don't get the Thorson love & Finley had a loaded OL & vn skill weapons. Can't remember how many times Finleys guys were waiting on him for reads, passes etc. Andrews played vg this year but if we're looking there, Bradbury is a perfect fit here. Tough, athletic, very smart/aware, great in space. Def PTP.
Also forget about King & just look at the obvious.
Its a decent-bad class. Been doing this a while & theres no other way to say it. You'll most likely have to spend a top 50-100 on guys mentioned above that will have 3rd - 4th rd grades.
As we speak we have 3 QB's, are we really going to bring in a guy that needs a lot of work & isn't that much of an upgrade from the current group?
Also, age matters. We're not drafting a 23-24 yo prospect to sit for 3-4 years & be Bradys successor near 30. Not someone that will have almost 0 live NFL action.
I've been driving the bus about getting future picks w our 1st. At 32 we're likely to only have 5-6 prospects graded so highly we have to take them there but I have a feeling this is a classic Pats draft where we do lots of work in rounds 2-4.
The next 2 QB classes look much better. Build the team & pick Bradys successor from a much more talented pool.
