Uh...Brady has SIX rings....Done Noringo?...um, that would be zero. So ending a zero rings career with a fartbag whoopie cushion finale is most certainly a far ,far bigger debacle than anything that could befall Brady at this point.

That was way back when the NFL couldn’t afford many footballs. As I recall, Mark Brunell only had three footballs. Those three footballs were like sons to him, and he carried them around in a small duffel bag wherever he went. They got scuffed, beaten up, and he’d cradle them at night, feeding them chicken soup and singing them back to health. It’s disgusting that someone would ever be more probable than not at least generally aware of a scheme to remove oxygen from balls like these, little footballs who can’t defend themselves, suffocating on a cold night without their air. I’d cry too if I were Brunell. Where have all the heroes gone?

I'll never forget that game. It was immediately after that game where I said "I predict the Patriots will draft the greatest QB of all time in the 6th round to trigger a 2-decade dynasty, the likes of which the NFL has never seen before."

The real question Mr Polian (besides why are you posting on a Pats site as XLIX) is why you didn't select the top player on your board by, oh...let's say the 5th round to prevent New England from getting him?

Not in particular. I find myself talking more smack to Dolphins fans because we’re in the same conference; we inevitably play them more often than the Succaneers.

Living in the Tampa area I’m surrounded by Bucs fans. Bless their long suffering hearts. They know our pain of being mired in mediocrity so I try not to troll them too much

And just think of how drastic of a change this was..............

Peyton Manning was THIS CLOSE to having his own terrible ending. In a regular season game against the Chiefs he went 5-20, 35 yards, and FOUR interceptions. He got benched for Brock O. who proceeded to start the next few games.

That was supposed to be it. Peyton Manning would end his career with THAT as his last performance, only Brock O. would later get benched and Peyton got to walk off a Super Bowl champ.

Crazy how that took a drastic turn. (His 'performance' didn't change, just the lasting image)

That win was a fluke but I’ll take not posting a big zero whopper against Brady for his career; before that I think we were 0-8 against him

Haha, I'll be honest, I always thought that fans of one team who sign up for other team's message boards would only do so with one objective in mind..........."to be a obnoxious and try to get under people's skin"

That's not my style, but I do see the point of being someone like you who views opposing boards just to get perspective. Perhaps I may try that. If I did it would probably be a Packers board (they are my NFC team).

Trying to find some part of me that can elicit some sort of sympathy for "Broken Down Dan", but cannot find it after all those years in the 80's and 90's of taking abuse from those f...ing sickening fans in their puke green and orange starter jackets cannot find anything but disdain for him and the Dolphins..

That game gives credence for a "mercy rule in the NFL"... couldn't have happened to a team I like less..
