Gotta jump on them early try to take the crowd out of it. Also see how Indy adjusted in the second half holding kc to 7 pts. I don’t think kc took their foot off the petal by that point.

One of the colts defensive players was talking about that and was disappointed they didn’t start off with there 2nd half game plan earlier

The Chiefs defense is in for a rude awakening this Sunday.

Andy Luck has gone home. A real QB will be on the other side of the line this game and Brady will be too much for KC to handle. The Chiefs have better players at certain positions, but as always, the Pats are the better TEAM. Better coached and mentally tougher than the Chiefs.

Its going to be the same story for Andy Reid. He will be so focused on his play sheet that the game will slip away. Reid is a micro manger and not a big picture guy. He is always trying to find the perfect opportunity to use the plays that he dreamed up this past week. Thats been his downfall in Philly and KC and he has not changed one iota.

Mahomes is very careless with the ball. I expect at least 1 fumble and 1 INT out of him. The Chiefs and Reid remind me of Martz and the Rams. Mistakes and blunders are no big deal because they think that they can score a TD on every 2nd play.

Pats win

F*ck me, I agree with Triumph.

K.C's record vs. teams above .500: 3-4 (4-4 if you include the playoff game vs. the Colts)
N.E.'s record vs. teams above .500: 6-1 (7-1 if you inclue the playoff game vs. the Chargers)
K.C's record vs. playoff teams: 2-4 (3-4 if you include the playoff game vs. the Colts)
N.E.'s record vs. playoff teams: 4-0 (5-0 if you inclue the playoff game vs. the Chargers)

This is not correct. The Pats are 5-2 against teams above .500 with losses to the Steelers and Titans. 6-2 if you include the Chargers.

**** him for that non-call on Gronk in the endzone against the Panthers.

Fam, referees call Offensive Holding, Roughing the Passer and Illegal Hands to the face. Downfield officials call Pass Interference.

It was his crew. I could not care less. At least this time we get a mix of a crew

We’re pretty healthy this season. I mean we lost some players, but it wasn’t like 2015 or 2013.

Sony could be the stud RB that Brady has never had.

All the guys have been retreads like Woodhead, Blount and Lewis. Dillon is the best that comes to mind and he was a bruiser.

This Pats RBBC looks like the real deal. Sony just keeps getting better with each game after a sluggish start. Burkhead is a dual threat and you must account for White at all times. White ripped off some sweet runs and it seemed like the Pats were in 3rd and short all the time. And, Devlin, dude is a bulldozer.

The Pats can pound you with the run.

He picked the flag up after discussing with the BJ so he should get blame on that

IMO Sony Michel and the running game is the key to this game. Getting the run going does three things.

1. Keeps the Chiefs offense off the field.
2. Slows down the pass rush
3. Allows brady to utilize play action for big plays.

On the other end, I hope our defense can stifle the run like they did against the Chargers.

Looks like everyone other than this board is picking KC to win.

Good. I like being the underdog. I didn’t think it would be a blowout but I was impressed with the Chargers v. Ravens. It was sloppy, middling football.

Tough game, but the Chiefs can be beaten at Arrowhead. The Chargers did it a month ago. The Ravens might have won in KC had Jackson not gotten hurt at the end. The first half is key and a good start is imperative.

Is there anyone who thinks the KC OL and DL are better than the Pats OL and DL? Their edge is their skill guys at WR and RB and the HFA. That’s pretty much it.

I don't. At all. I think the key to the game will be the Chiefs' sorely UNDERRATED D.

Houston, Jones, and Dee Ford are formidable as hell - if the Pats control them the way they handled Bosa, Ingram and company, they have a good chance.

When the Pats got blown out by the Chiefs a couple of years ago (remember, another "cliff" Brady fell over?), Justin Houston absolutely blew up their offense. That dude can still play, and Jones is a beast in the middle, and Ford is sneaky and super fast.

That said, the Patriots' OL has been stellar - if they can handle that D front of the Chiefs, the Patriots will move easily.

No way the KC D - right now - is weak. No way.

Watching that play from the stands I told my old man that I could have gotten 5 yards on that play. I was being modest.
My old man said the same thing.

I respect the Chef’s but I believe in Belichick and Brady. It will be an upset but it’s definitely one I can see them pulling off. Gunslinging quarterbacks are awesome until they make serious mistakes. Mahomes is a great talent but Brady is the GOAT. It’s going to be a much better match than I would have believed a month ago.

If I remember correctly they won that Super Bowl

Put JC Jackson on him. That kid is masterful at redirecting receivers routes.
He’s been great but he’s also a rookie who has been a bit over aggressive at times and it’s cost him. He’s getting better by the week and should be a very quality pro, going forward, but I wouldn’t have him manned up against Hill the entire game. If he mistimes the jam, Hill is gone. Both he and Gilmore need to rotate and cover Hill when they’re in man. Hill’s routes are primarily 2, 6, 7, 8, and 9. If one guy is covering him throughout the game, he’ll get gassed quickly.

Pats lost to the Steelers and Titans, both above .500
