or excels in that short passing game:)

I wonder sometimes if the cold weather favors a short passing game or a long one in some respects. Wind is a problem on long throws, and of course a ball may not travel as far when the air is frigid, but if I’m a WR I’m more confident catching a high arcing bomb that’s falling into my hands than a frozen bullet thrown on a line from 15 feet away. Anyone with experience have an idea?

Super Bowl XXV game plan. I think we know a guy who was involved in that.

If there’s wind, long passing game is affected negatively more. Just how it is. In my games in severe weather, it was always the wind or precipitation that made a bigger difference than the cold. Once you’re warmed up and running around, I don’t feel like the cold makes catching too much harder.

From someone else’s experience, I remember Doug Baldwin making a couple incredible catches in that freezing game against the Vikings a couple years ago

The Patrick Mahomes hyperbole has already gotten old to me. Yes he's very physically gifted and had a wonderful season, but to quote Ric Flair...to BE the man, you gotta BEAT the man!!!

Adding to this the simple fact that playoff TB12 > Mahomes. We'll have the better QB on Sunday.

How Scar didn’t make All-Pro is beyond me :D

Seriously though; the OL & Develin deserve a ton of praise and then some! Love their cohesion, toughness & work ethic!

The Chiefs defense is in for a rude awakening this Sunday.

Andy Luck has gone home. A real QB will be on the other side of the line this game and Brady will be too much for KC to handle. The Chiefs have better players at certain positions, but as always, the Pats are the better TEAM. Better coached and mentally tougher than the Chiefs.

Its going to be the same story for Andy Reid. He will be so focused on his play sheet that the game will slip away. Reid is a micro manger and not a big picture guy. He is always trying to find the perfect opportunity to use the plays that he dreamed up this past week. Thats been his downfall in Philly and KC and he has not changed one iota.

Mahomes is very careless with the ball. I expect at least 1 fumble and 1 INT out of him. The Chiefs and Reid remind me of Martz and the Rams. Mistakes and blunders are no big deal because they think that they can score a TD on every 2nd play.

Pats win

Looks like everyone other than this board is picking KC to win.

Part of me is glad it's on the road, for two reasons. First, it can silence the annoying narrative that the team's terrible on the road, you'll hear that all week from the Pats haters and Mahomes worshippers. Second, there's something very satisfying about going into another team's stadium in a big playoff game and ripping their hearts out of their chest see. 2001 & 2004 AFC title games in Pittsburgh

Mahomes has 9 fumbles this year. Couple that with 12 picks....21 lost balls. Thats as bad as when Tom was a young pup

This entire season has reminded me of 2013.

We also blew out the Colts (43-22) in the divisional round at home that season

Hopefully the ending is much different this year.

We’re pretty healthy this season. I mean we lost some players, but it wasn’t like 2015 or 2013.

K.C's record vs. teams above .500: 3-4 (4-4 if you include the playoff game vs. the Colts)
N.E.'s record vs. teams above .500: 5-2 (6-2 if you inclue the playoff game vs. the Chargers)
K.C's record vs. playoff teams: 2-4 (3-4 if you include the playoff game vs. the Colts)
N.E.'s record vs. playoff teams: 4-0 (5-0 if you inclue the playoff game vs. the Chargers)

Watching that play from the stands I told my old man that I could have gotten 5 yards on that play. I was being modest.
