Itll be tough on the road but We have a great shot as long as we can play a clean game - limit killer penalties/turnovers and if our ol can hold its own. If so , brady vs that secondary and Michel vs that run d is a great matchup for us.

I think we can limit maholmes. He was solid but underwhelming yesterday. Hunt being out Allows us to focus on hill and kelce.

If kc can get in bradys face with 4 rushers itll be a long day. And of course if we commit stupid penalties/ shoot ourselves in the foot alot like in the regular season road games it obviously wont be good.

This is exactly what happened in 2013(?)

We dropped the ball down in Miami that cost us seeding, and we ended up having to travel to Denver and lost on the road.

I think we are a much better team now than in 2013...better equipped to handle the road environment this time around.

If the Pats were to win this game, where would it rank in terms of most "improbable" playoff wins of BB era?

1) vs Rams (SB36)
2) @ Pittsburgh (AFC Championship Game 2001)
3) @ Chargers (2006)

In terms of lines/expectations going in, it would be 4th though I'd personally rank it second.

This entire season has reminded me of 2013.

We also blew out the Colts (43-22) in the divisional round at home that season

Hopefully the ending is much different this year.

2013 as well, Pats only the lost the #1 seed to Broncos because they lost to Dolphins in Miami then had to go to Denver and lose in the AFCCG
That 2013 team was completely decimated by injury though. The fact that they even had a chance in the AFCCG is testament to Brady and Belichick. They couldn’t win in Miami that year partly because they didn’t have the horses.

Both starting DT’s were on IR - Wilfork (back when he was still prime Wilfork) and Tommie Kelly.
The team’s best LB Mayo was on IR.
Gronk was on IR
Amendola was playing through a torn groin injury - and thus was considered a bust at this point.
Vollmer was playing Pro a Bowl quality RT and was on IR.
And Hernandez murdered a poor guy right before training camp

They just had a lot of JAGs out there and got pretty far with them. Those injuries also gave a chance for Hightower, Edelman and Develin to grow into bigger roles, which they took full advantage of.

Double the speedy woman beater all game. As for Kelce, could Gilmore cover him?

You sure? Because our road record this year is average, at best.

Opening as a 3 point dog for the AFCCG.

Add in the usual points a the hometeam gets and its a pick'em.

Cant fall behind by double digits have to keep the game close or we can get blown out. Arrowhead tough place to play
And it will be snowing at Arrowhead while new england potentially gets hit by a blizzard.
