Please. You can have concerns and even believe a team isn't Championship material and still be a fan. Sure, I admit I believe KC might very well beat us. I also admit this win gives me hope.

I agree season is never over, but believing a team might not be a championship team doesn't mean people are off NE.

When someone says "the season is over" then I'm pretty sure that's what they meant to say.

This is what I felt like doing after the game. Too bad my wife isn't a dancer...

What about the fair weather fans who called the season over a few weeks ago? Are they back on the bandwagon?

IR designated to return. We should know more this week, but I expect them to be back the moment KC completes a pass for a first down.

I know, but it doesn't mean they are no longer fans or off the bandwagon. Having concerns or believing a team isn't championship material is fine if there is legitimate reason to worry. I do believe after Pitt game, there was legitimate reason to worry.

I already discussed this at the time and I don't want to kill the buzz here by taking it further.

You said it yourself if there is a legit reason. But if people keep saying something "stinks" or "sucks" then they at least need to give us some context and explain why they think so. If you can't explain why you think something stinks then I don't think there is any reason to trust your judgement in the first place.

"The season is over" is not a fan expressing concern. It's a useless, emotional knee jerk thing or just someone who wants this team to fail so they can feel right.

I'm a homer, but that's because it's statistically the smartest position to take with this team. I'm also realistic. We are a flawed team.

There's just something about the people who are in a rush to declare the season over or our defense as the worst of all time or something it's almost like they're enthusiastically negative. The more I'm living on the Best Coast the more striking the northeast negativity is. It's like some people can't be happy with a flawed top 5 team, in fact they seem downright miserable.

Having concerns and declaring the season over are completely different things
