Crappy weather could be the reason that the Chargers win, that would be disappointing.

That’s pretty much what happened when we lost the 2012 AFCCG at home to BAL. I think the high winds helped Baltimore’s defense much more than they helped ours.

With the clothing advances of today for the cold, I can't see how anyone would possibly be cold at a game. Wear base layers, wear ski jackets (heck, you could buy a hi-tech thin jacket at Eddie Bauer for $60), wear thin ski pants, snow boots, wicking socks, a $15 pair of Kincko gloves, a good hat, etc. And if all that fails, bring some hand and foot warmers.

I was at the last Chargers playoff game at Foxboro and it was about 15-20 degrees and I felt toasty the whole game. I go December games in the Meadowlands, Gillette and Buffalo all the time. I never feel cold.

I may be a clothing pansy with all this gear, but it's the smart way to go.

I was passing out foot warmers to a guy from Ottawa a few weeks ago--he showed up with a thin jacket, jeans and sneakers, and was freezing. I was like, "What were you thinking?"

I was at that one too and it wasn’t the temp as much as the wind as I recall. But as you said layers (plus a half pint of blackberry brandy in each boot) and we were fine other than our faces being a bit wind burned after the game.

My dad (70) is a tough-guy kinda dad but he's on blood thinners and gets cold much easier these days. I wonder if he might cancel going to the game with me.

My gal pal wouldn't mind if he does.

I can get my twink game on with the quickness. If you’re looking for a sexy “lady” to go with, I can definitely play the part. Just saying. I can give new definition to the term “putting lipstick on a pig.”

Yup, storm looking more and more like a "miss", as it stays largely to the south. Maybe some flurries, but still cold.

Here in MA near the RI border the mid 20s is when I start thinking about a month in Fort Myers Beach. 45 more days, but who's counting?

It just occurred to me after watching some of Rivers' throws, that the adverse weather condition that might favor the Pats the most could be wind, rather than cold or snow.

I'm much more confident in Brady's ability to drive "wind-cutters" than in Rivers'.

I don’t think it will be as big a difference as you think. Remember last year bortles played one of his best games we’ve seen from him (imo). He said he hadn’t seen snow until he made the nfl. Snow would make a big difference in the game. Cold is largely just a discomfort thing. And these guys are pretty tough. Plus, many of them have played plenty of cold games before. Hell theyre in denver’s Division too.
In my experience (4 years of playing receiver in college in Maine), the cold doesn’t really make interest that much harder to catch. If at all. It’s a little uncomfortable, but it’s not like it’s harder to make plays like it would be in rain or snow.

But cold weather will naturally deflate the balls somewhat, making them a cinch to catch (according to Chris Carter and others). Amirite?

Welp, its back to "mostly sunny" again on sunday. But it is predicted to be colder. Now it says 27°. Started the week saying it would be 31°. Expecting a good windchill too

Accuweather, Intellicast, etc. all predicting "winds" of 6mph or less during the game.

The winter storm won't make it to New England. The high pressure is way too strong and will suppress the storm to our south. At most, SW CT might see some flurries.

At least their RBs are familiar with the cold. Ekeler is from Colorado and Gordon is from Wisconsin.
