Donkeys circling around Chicago DC Vic Fangio as new HC

Radio here in PA says thats exactly what they are going to do tag and immediately trade.
Trust that Jac Den Miami ill throw a wildcard out there Ten will be blowing their phone up.
Before posters ask yes they will get alot more then we got for Aladdin.
A) Foles has an opt out so he really can’t be traded.
B) a 2nd and Sanders isnt a lot more than a 2nd and a needed backup QB

Its my day off lol

I literally posted as soon as espn gave me the phone update. 10 minutes too slow it seems. Should’ve known since espn is always late to the party.

If you read the article I shared if Eagles pick up the option 20 million?
They can then turn around and franchise him about 5 million more.
They will

No. He can opt out by paying them 2 mill.

No. He can opt out by paying them 2 mill.
How can the Eagles trade Foles when he is scheduled to be a free agent? The Eagles can pick up the $20 million option for Foles in February, which Foles can then buy his way back into free agency by giving the Eagles $2 million.

The Eagles can pick up the $20 million option, but then use the franchise tag on Foles...setting up a potential trade for the Super Bowl MVP (which nullifies the buy-back option for Foles).

No it says if he pays the 2 mill if Eagles pay him 20 mill they pick up his option.
No. The eagles have an option year at 20 mill.
If they pick that up Foles has the option of buying it out for 2 mill.
Pretty sure rapaoport is wrong that Philly can exercise their option, Foles exercise his to buy his way out and then they could tag him.
They are also well over the cap already.

I could be wrong but tagging a player who buys out his contract does not seem like something that will fly. @Miguel ??

You will see the Eagles get a first plus for Foles and he will turn to a pumpkin again.

Was hoping we tried to get Foles. Guarantee him he will be starter in 2020. Brady retires after 2019 is my guess.

According to Denver media outlets Fangio is the favorite to land the job coordinate the defense and bring in Gary Kubiak to lead the offense.

Kind of weird to demote a previous super-bowl winning head coach to OC on the same team. Although he still had a job as a personnel guy after he wasn't head coach. What's the story? I'm guess he doesn't want to be HC.

Edit: never mind, he got sick.

Health to poor for HC more low key job as OC

Brady seems confident about playing to 45.

I wonder if another reason for him playing till 45 is because he doesn't want the Patriots to go through what the Dolphins went through after Marino left. Maybe he wants to be sure the organization has a capable stud QB before retiring.

Fangio is another Mike Zimmer type of hiring (long time defensive coach finally gets his chance), and having Kubiak will let Fangio feel his way through the early days. I don't know if it's a good hire, but it's got potential.

But Elway needs to fix his roster, or it's not going to matter.

Off topic, but for as bad/useless Manning was in his last season, the Broncos seem to really miss him. I guess its hard to keep winning year after year.
