According to Denver media outlets Fangio is the favorite to land the job coordinate the defense and bring in Gary Kubiak to lead the offense.
Not shabby Denver if true.

Fangio will have that defense dominant and Kubiak is a good offensive mind.

Do they stick with Kennum or trade the farm for Foles.
My bet is they trade a second and Emanuel Sanders for Nick Foles.

Isn’t Foles a free agent?

That's not all they're circling around...

Actually, if I'm the Jaguars, I purge some cap (Bortles is only guaranteed $6M this year so they could possibly move him to a QB needy team) and do everything I can to bring in Foles and someone familiar with Philly's offense.

You will see the Eagles get a first plus for Foles and he will turn to a pumpkin again.

I think tag and trade like the Pats did with Cassel.
That’s not an easy thing to do.
The eagles would have to tie up 20+ mill and files would have to sign the tag. If he doesn’t the 20 mill is still tied up
Foles isn’t going to be happy letting the eagles choose where he goes and leaving him only one team to negotiate with and not having a choice of where he plays. Of course the trade will be contingent upon agreement to a long term deal, so the eagles could end up stuck.

Tag and trade sounds a hell of a lot easier than it really is which is why a backup QB who started for a year and was traded to uncle pioli is the best example you can find.

At this moment, the Eagles are already $12M over the cap for 2019. They'd have to shed $12M plus an additional ~$25M for the franchise QB cost, just to actually be able to franchise him and make no other moves this offseason.

He's a FA. You're expecting them to tag him?

Kitchens named browns HC

Looks like Foles cannot be tagged.
The eagles have an option year but Foles can buy it out for 2 mill and become a FA.
No trade here.

On April 20, 2018, Foles renegotiated his contract and signed a new two year contract worth up to $29 million in base salary. The contract pays Foles a $2 million signing bonus in 2018, which represents a $2 million raise from his original contract. There are $14 million in additional incentives available. The 2019 season, which was a void year, is now an option year with a player void clause. The Eagles can opt into the contract, which carries a $20 million salary, by picking up the option a month before the start of the 2019 league year. The salary is guaranteed on the 3rd day of the league year. If the option is exercised Foles may still become a free agent by paying back the $2 million signing bonus he received in 2018 as part of this new contract to void the 2019 league year. The 2020 and 2021 league years will both automatically void prior to the start of the 2020 league year.

Yes thats what Philadelphia Radio says Rosemans intenions fully are.
They will get a ransom for him.
They won’t get anything. Foles has an opt out

Foles have that magic wouldn't surprise me if they knocked off the Saints. Foles just wins.

Their cap allocation for 2019 currently includes the $20 million option year that Foles isn’t going to get (because he could then opt out), so it’s closer to $5 million extra to tag him beyond what it currently says. But yes, they would still have a lot of cutting to do.
