NFL Week 14 games discussion

Could be worse. You could've been a Jets fan.

The Jets think they've found their QBOTF, and they've got a boatload (as in more than $100m at the moment) of projected cap space for next season.

Too bad they don’t have a good coach.

All indications are that Bowles will be gone after this season. That Jets job could be a big draw for top coaching candidates, because they'll be figuring that Brady and BB are winding down.

Is there any radio play by play guy more annoying than the Titans’? Those that listen to NFL Radio on Sirius know what I’m talking about. TOUCHDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNN TITANS!!!!!!

Situation last night. Titans on Jags 5 yard line trying to get Henry the 5th TD. 2 penalties on JAX on a run by D. Lewis that got to the 1 inch line. Do you take the penalty and get first down on the 3 yard line ( which they did) or decline it and have second down on the one inch line and let Henry or Lewis punch it in or a QB sneak.??? I thought the better move would be to decline it. You lose a down but the way Tenn was rushing, they would get in with 3 tries from so close. As it was, they didn't get in w 3 rushes and a 4th down pass.

Jalen Ramsey is an ignorant, stupid stupid stupid, beyond moronic moron...just a complete POS idiot, fake azzed tough guy wannabe punk.

He's been pretty quiet since AB embarrassed him.

That play wasn’t on Ramsey. They were playing zone, not man, with safety help. Ramsey passed him off to the deep safety and Brown made him look silly. It’s actually a good example of what happens when the Jags play zone (I felt their talent is better suited to man but that’s just me)

Other than that I am sick of Ramsey’s antics

How do the fans down there feel about Tom Coughlin? I've been a fan of his since his days at BC with Doug Flutie.

Pretty remarkable that the Titans have Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis and, aside from last night, neither of them do anything for them. Suggests bad coaching, bad offensive line, bad quarterbacking, or some combination of the three.

I'll also note those huge runs are pretty damn random. Henry's longest carry prior to last night was 16 yards. It's why people harping on Sony Michel for merely running for 5+ yards on like 40% of his carries but not having any huge touchdown runs are missing the point.

Not being able to tackle Brown is hard to pin on the safety.

In his defense, he shouldn’t have to run back and attempt that tackle but I see your point. Tackling isn’t his strong suit anyway.

Either way, he should shut his mouth. It’s old

Most like him. However it should be noted that he has influence on personnel decisions, including the poor decision to extend Bortles. So he bears some culpability for this years mess. Rather would have him coaching tbh, as discipline is what the team needs

I live in Jax so I see their stuff all the time. Coughlin and Caldwell are directly to blame for this. Extending Bortles, not targeting Keenum or Bridgewater, not taking talks with Allen Robinson more seriously, and then drafting Taven Bryan when they had needs elsewhere. I suspect they'll eventually get it right again, but that team was a top-heavy mess without a lot in the way of depth from the get-go this year and only took a couple of injuries to expose them.

Trading away Fowler is still a head-scratcher.

Last night, the Titans were up 30-9 with 6 minutes left and opted to go for it on 4th and goal.

Kick that figgie, make it a 24 point lead, and milk the clock, IMO. The Titans are now 4-0 against the Jaguars the last two seasons...I'd not rub it in against a division rival. The Jags will remember this next year, IMO.
