There is a budget

In a perfect world you can keep Lewis
In a perfect world you can keep Amendola
In a perfect world you can keep Cooks

But the cap makes you make tough choices

If he didnt become invisible against the eagles he might of been here
He is not here because of age and injury history. And white, because Lewis as the running game back was never the plan. It worked but was in no way ideal.

Don't blame him to an extent but I think he went a little overboard. We gave him a chance on a futures contract from what I remember. Paid him once then carried him the half season he tore his ACL and then he wanted more than we wanted to pay. It is a business. I get taking it somewhat personal but torching your bridges like that is never wise.

Can’t blame him in the least....He was a HUGE part of our offense for several seasons and is obviously a devestating player to stop....and BB kicked him to the curb....always liked Dion and can’t argue that he’s chafed that BB let him go

How do you define huge? He was injured approximately 50% of the time. Our top two RBs this season are playing extremely well. He was replaced fairly easily after the Pats put plenty into setting him up for success.

For what they got, I would have much rather had him than Burkhead.
The issue is unlike Dion, you can't look at it as a Dion v Burkhead decision.

Why not? They let Dion walk and went with Brittle Burkhead for negligible amount of money.

TN is paying Dion equal for what they are paying Michel, White and Burk combined this year.

Its not apples to apples is my point

Dion and James White play the same role in this offense. Wouldn't have made sense to keep them both. Burkhead is more of a short yardage back.

Woa...

If that doesn't piss off every man on this team this season is over.

i mean he's not wrong.

the offense completely crumbled to adversity today.

Now that comment is a bit surprising. You feel overlooked, we get it Dion. But, you just went and called a group of men that you worked with side by side for years a bunch of *****es. Get a grip. How can he say that with a straight face while watching that team over the years overcome all of the obstacles they’ve overcome? I know the Pats don’t have that same tough as nails attitude that they did back in the day, but they are a resilient bunch.
