The Falcons aren't that bad. Maybe he's just one of those people who hates the cold. Kind of stupid if you're a football player but still.

No great loss.

Falcons aren’t going anywhere in the nfc.. will probably make the playoffs but most likely a 1st round exit.

I’m not saying I wanted the guy, but if he wanted a chance to get to the super bowl the Patriots would have been the best choice of teams interested.

He should have signed a 1 year deal with NE and at least have a better opportunity to get a ring and then sign with his home town team after it expires.

Falcons have Tough closing Schedule too @ Saints @ Green bay @ Carolina and @ Jeckll/Hyde Bucs. With Four losses already they only have two more to spare to go 10-6. So Irvin passed up a chance to go to a Team that will probably get a Bye to one who we might barely make the playoffs.

Some of these players don’t think with their heads. They think with their hearts. He’s taking less money to play for a team that may not make the playoffs? Um, ok...
