Joe Buck & Troy Aikman

Looooooserrrrr.

I just love when he telegraph a play and goes ewwwwwww or ahhhhhhhhhh.
He does kind of geek out at times but it’s cool to hear from someone that actually has experience playing against current players. He gives insight on what they like to do and what you can expect.

I like Aikman. Knowledgeable without over doing it.

The only person that stated the obvious more than these two knuckleheads was Madden. At least he was comical.

They add no value or insight to the game at all. Romo is like the hot crazy chick of broadcasting. Once you've slept with that 12 that is up for anything, everything else seems bland.

Nance is great and a broadcasting legend still in the tail end of his prime. Romo is excellent and refreshing analysis/insight-wise but still has some room to grow, maybe settle down a bit. I respect Joe Buck and his career but I’ve never liked his voice, maybe it goes back to him being a yankee ***k sucker from those Sox/yanks games but I digress.. Aikman doesn’t seem to add anything to me, I actually think their voices sound very similarly boring.

Snoop Dogg is unbearable.

This is a racist statement. Expect 250 angry , bespectacled women to be picketing in your driveway by 7am this morning.:eek::eek::eek::eek:

That's close

Haha...that backfired.

Still, I can't believe anyone likes this duo. Aikman brings absolutely nothing to the table. He's the most generic NFL announcer there is, he makes a lot of mistakes, and he doesn't add to my understanding of the game, ever.

People may think Collinsworth is too smug and too critical of the Pats (both true) but he points out all kinds of stuff that I wouldn't have otherwise noticed, usually in the trenches.

This thread encapsulates it perfectly. People seem to either love or hate Buck and Aikman.

I don't HATE them... but... for the love of God, can either of them, at any moment in time...

...just stop talking?

They are fine. One of the better announcing teams in the NFL.
Blah. The best is **** Enberg and Merlin Olsen. First gay announcers. Oh, my.

Ah, I'm sorry, I have to read my posts out loud so my aide can help with the spelling and he says that Merlin has passed. I don't know what I was thinking. I always liked that Conrad Dobler fellah, too, though couldn't figure out why they made him put those marbles in his mouth. Always thought that Dan Dierdorf would make a good booth guy, don't know why they didn't try him. He looked semi-intelligent. Aw, yeah, the good old days.

I like Collinsworth and Michaels. On the whole it has all been tolerable after Jim Nantz and Phil Simms departed. Those guys were unbearable.

Aikman is boring and obvious, and Buck is an insufferable little weasel. Their broadcasts are white noise cliche fests.

Romo is over excited at times but clearly the best NFL color man alive, his pairing with Nantz is the top team by miles. He's openly a huge fan of the Pats offense and clearly wishes he had a chance to play with that kind of high level coaching instead of that empty suit Jason Garrett.

Dude, that's just your ex-wife.

Romo covering Pats games is always an implicit "Thanks for wasting my career ,you ginger moron" experience, as he goes in great detail describing the play concepts he clearly understands... but was never allowed to use.

In a subtle way his broadcast career builds a great case that he wasn't the dumb discount Favre player people assumed, but rather was a bright guy who worked for morons.

I know Joe Buck has improved in the past couple of years but the best???

Buck talking about Bradys hair over the years then saying he is the last person to comment on hair I thought was actually pretty funny. The guy almost lost his voice and had some serious health issues due to hair plug addiction. They are better than most but thats not saying much..
