You're being too easy on Sam....

Give Darnold one more year. 2019 isn't supposed to be a good QB year.

2019 NFL draft: Early-bird preview of top QB prospects
You're missing the possibility of Darnit playing poorly enough to UNINTENTIONALLY tank his team this season. That places the Jete in a real dilemma with another early draft pick: Do they take a quarterback, or a safety? With McClown likely retiring, they probably should take a quarterback that Darnit can back up.

Likely trade back for oline.

You're being too easy on Sam. You can't say it's been "unfair". That's baby talk. Dude is an NFL QB. Take the lumps and move on.

But then you flip to saying he's gonna "dominate". Bipolar much?

Chill, he'll have good weeks and bad.

Good weeks ?

A bye week and the postseason?

Why would you assume it’s a trade back for the o-line position? I’m just wondering why Jets fans think exactly like the actual team management, which is to blindly formulate a plan based on false assumptions a year before the draft. That was what they did in this previous draft, traded up because of a strategy they had conceived a year ago, even though it no longer made any sense because of their position and the number of highly-rated quarterbacks.

Just a guess. I haven't heard anything about what's available in the upcoming draft.

Wins would be great, but I'm not disappointed with Sam so far. These first four weeks were rough for a rookie.
  1. Starting off on Monday Night prime time.
  2. Short week.
  3. Really short week (away).
  4. Freakin' Jacksonville's D.
Like you I was expecting worse vs Jacksonville. Now things get a bit easier/normal. Really curious to see how Sam handles the next four weeks.

He just needs to keep learning.
Let's hope.
i think you need to invest in one of these

Safeties play defense. Unless you're talking about them also playing on kick/punt return units.
On da Jete they punt, pass, kick, block, cover, etc because da Jete only draft safties.
