Malcolm Butler Mega Thread

He put him in to play special teams. He was dressed for the game. From your take he should have not put the uniform on. o_O
We were short corners, he needed to be active. My belief was he was demoted to cb3 based upon the lack of preparation and poor work week. Then after inactives were chosen he melted down and Belichick felt he couldn’t put him in the game.
Playing in punt return doesn’t change anything.

Exactly which destroys the ,"Bill didn't try to make changes" arguement
He does not get paid to make adjustments, he gets paid to make adjustments that work.

So he took his team to the 8th SB in 17 years, 5 of which he won and it’s disgusting and negligent that he didn’t win this one?
He has made decisions that cost 11 other SBs. Problem is making decisions that win 5 in 17 years is beyond fantastic.
I don’t understand why people are still crying because a coach who has had more success than any other benched a player who didn’t meet his standard of deserving to play.

Stop deflecting to prior years. ************. Bill could come out and admit that he threw the Super Bowl and you'd dismiss it with "He already won 5 Super Bowls, so whatever".

Belichick would tell you what happened in the past is irrelevant. On that day, the Patriot defense was essentially non competitive and Belichick was a major reason, Butler or no Butler. Does not mean I would trade 5 SB, but on that day he was outcoached - badly.

Which he does better than any coach alive, doesnt mean hes going to always be right.
And he gets a boatload of credit when he is right, so .....

The fact that he won 5 Super Bowls is what gives him the benefit of the doubt on a decision you don’t know the facts about.
The fact that you imply he threw the game proves you are an idiot.

No that is wrong.
What happened in the past qualifies him to make such decisions and gives him the benefit of the doubt that with the facts available to him he made the best decision he could.
The fact that MALCOLM BUTLER ADMITS HE WASNT PREPARED TO PLAY makes it clear that his hands were tied.
It’s too bad butler screwed up or he would have played.

So without Butler there was no defense that could have stopped Philly from scoring on every drive but 2? Funny, a lot of teams managed that feat last year. The Pats defense was non competitive in the biggest game of the year, and the head coach did his best?

That was clearly a hypothetical and it couldn't be more obvious.

The fact you think that was me "implying" something proves you're far beyond idiot status.

If you want to refer to prior success, then let me tell you about Malcolm Butler who contributed significantly to the latest 2 Super Bowl wins and played 90%+ snaps for that 2017 "top 5 defense".

You said it.

So you expect he has to win every game ever?
When did I say the defense was not bad in that game?

Oh, so prior success matters?
Who do to think gas been more responsible for the success of the patriots Bill Belichick or Malcolm butler?
Which one admitted they weren’t prepared to play leaving which to coach the team without being able to use him?

The majority of the forum is growing tired of your dishonest, lie ridden posts.
I have never made a dishonest post or lied in this board.
The fact that you say crap like that proves you know your argument fails.
