No one would have drafted Wynn 1st round, he was considered early 2nd round pick at best. I assume we were desperate enough after losing Solder to the Giants and wanted to get hold of OL guy ASAP.

Watch the film on him against Alabama. You should come to a different conclusion.

Fun facts
Rams 3 WRs have averaged a combined 281 yds receiving in each of their 4 games
NE's 3 WRs have averaged a combined 77 yds per game

Yes, but the Rams have Brandon Cook.

Why are people worried about WRs, its because the running game sucking that we are having problems with WRs. We need to bring in RBs not WRs.

Yeah, only 7 straight AFC championship games. LOL

Dues is talking about this season.

Last year Cooks and Almendola and Solder were still on the club. Letting Almendola leave has been a glaring mistake this year. The deed to the farm is riding on Jules Andelman and Rastafarian Josh Gordon.

Dorsett stinks.
Hogan is hot and cold.
Patterson doesnt get the ball.
Coleman would have been another Dorsett.
Britt was another mercenary.

That is wrong.

I think this is the only guy that the Pats haven't worked out at WR at this point...

I think he just beat 2018 Hightower's 40 time.

Go look at the mock drafts again.

You are talking to someone who thinks that mock drafts have any relevance at all. A waste of time.

What the hell does that have to do with the point of the discussion?

What the hell is wrong with you people that you can't accept the fact of BB's approach when it fails, but feel the need to crow about it when it succeeds?

When the "failure" are consistent AFCCG berths maybe you should just reconsider your "opinion".

Why? This team wins because of many reasons. The biggest two are Brady and Belichick. That doesn't mean that either is perfect, and it sure as hell doesn't mean that BB's approach doesn't have a high rate of failure with his free agent signings, because the data on that is irrefutable. It also doesn't mean that they've drafted well in recent years, or in the second round generally, because he hasn't, and the data on that is also irrefutable.

They have historically been able to overcome those mistakes. That doesn't mean that the mistakes haven't been made.

And you should be smart enough to know that.

ck. Give me someone who has a consistently better track record with FAs and drafting and there is a pretty good chance you will find the same kind of dry spell somewhere in the last 10 years.

With Coleman being released from practice squad, looks like he might get added?

Every 'reach' debate involves one side believing that they know when a player is going to be drafted because they read enough mock drafts, etc.

You don't know the other 31 team's draft boards so you flat out have no fucking clue where Wynn would have gone. It's not a very Belichickian thing to try to factor the unknown into the equation. Everything I've read indicates the Patriots build their draft board based on their own scoring not trying to guess what the other 31 are doing.

You can call a player a bad pick, that's fine and many posters here who have done that have been proven right about guys like Richards, Tavon, etc.

But what you cannot do is prove that a player is a 'reach' unless you have access to all 32 team's draft boards.
