I get that this is the NFL and you can’t expect to win every week and we have it BY FAR better than anyone else, BUT...

What on earth was up with the coaching decisions? Unbelievably conservative in playcalling, should have attempted at least one, if not two onside kicks, definitely should have done for it on 4th and an inch. It’s like Belichick and McDaniels lose their minds every time they coach a game in Florida. Very frustrating to watch. Lacking talent is one thing (and there is some of that). Coaching to seemingly lose is another.

This happens early every season and frankly I'm ok with it.

I understand that the GDT is "reactionary" but when posters are calling it a season after the first three and out it's reached a point of enough is enough. The GDT used to be a great companion piece to the games, time to throw the dirt on that.

I'll never agree to the idea that the team is immune to criticism, no matter how successful they've been in the past. I still want to know wtf Belichick was thinking on the 4th and 2 call in Indy and why they decided to go pass-happy against a weak run defense NYG team in 2011. I look at those two situations as blown opportunities by the coaches.

I vistit the GDT a few times a season and after 5 minutes I'm annoyed and exasperated.

We discovered a couple of decades ago that organizational success is more likely by focusing on the positive, and taking advantage of what people do well, rather than criticize them for what they don't. It is remarkable how organizational moods change when this is done. But, there are always a small number of people in management who simply can't find satisfaction or a role unless they focus exclusively on what's going wrong and how people are messing up. They usually fail when this is brought to light. And they usually go down swinging, blaming everyone else for their emotions and hanging on to "rights" like to say what they believe.

I think they take up residence in football GDT's all around the country.

My current take is that a percentage of "fans" have gone beyond criticism and into rage and hatred. I was advised to use "ignore" and that may help but I feel as though my questions are still valid : why follow a team that you hate and why participate in a forum that discusses that team?
