Stevan Ridley in the 3rd round in 2011. Had a great year in 2012 rushing for 1,200+ yards and 12 TD’s. He had the makings of being a very good RB but I think the Bernard Pollard hit in the AFCCG ruined him. You could see his confidence shot in the 2013 season where he started fumbling like crazy. Then he tore his ACL in 2014 which K.O.’d his career.Can't even remember the last time the Pats drafted an effective lead back. Curtis Martin? Does Robert Edwards count?
Sony Michel not making an impact on this team will be a bigger blow than people seem to realize. He was expected to provide some juice to the running game to take this offense to another level. At this stage of Brady’s career, you can’t piss away 1st round draft picks like this (potentially). I’m hopeful for him but, this is a really bad start to his career.
