Didn’t we already work him out once early in the offseason?

I’m actually pretty suprised he’s still available. I know he failed a physical with Carolina early in the offseason, but that was only due to an infection on his foot.

19 PD’s last year, pretty impressive actually.

I like Breeland too, but not sure there's a place for him on the 53 with a lot of younger CB's showing promise so far in camp.....

Im torn really like Breeland but dont want him over JC Jackson however BB knows best.
Rowe is only under contract this season so.

I have Rowe on a trade block actually . although he has reportedly solid TC . maybe not good enough for BB to depend on him as #2 for season (sure for certain matchups..)
I was just thinking the same.
If he gets Breeland for 2 seasons cheap he trades Rowe for a draft pick or player or positon we arent even talking about right now.

If he's healthy now he's better than most of the CBs on our roster. And I like some of the young guys like Jackson and Crosnien. And Jon Jones just came off the pup and he's a binky for me. Not a big fan of Rowe but he seems to be having a good camp. The Duke looks good in the slot. Breeland is better than them all. I think Jmac is better but it's close. Sign the beast.

Breeland had signed a 3 year/$24M deal before hurting himself and having the deal voided. There's no way he's signing a multi-year deal here (or anywhere) right now unless it's for big money or unless it's the only way he can play in the NFL. This is the absolute definition of a "prove-it" contract guy - he'll sign a one year deal so he can prove to everyone he's still healthy and good, and then sign a comparable/better multi-year deal next offseason.
