The guy can say whatever he wants and publically burn his Pats jersey. He will always be one of my absolute favorite Patriots. Played here way below his market value for three years, and I’m happy for him that there was still a window to cash in and maybe ride out his career in a more laid back atmosphere. I never believed that players were actually “clutch” in sports (just attibuted it to a small sample size) until Danny Amendola proved me wrong. I don’t think he will make it, but he’d have my vote for Patriots Hall of Fame. The game came down to one play so many times and he made the ridiculously tough catches every time it did. He was the anti-Welker...never had the volume and consistency but was MONEY when you absolutely needed him. I also never thought I’d see a player more dependable than Troy Brown with the game on the line, but Danny Amendola proved me wrong again. The fact he was unhappy about a lot of things in the organization just makes me appreciate him even more, not less.

Its ridiculous.

Belichick has no plan to replace Almendola. He was fishing all off season. The Pats have not gotten younger at WR. Almemdolas contract is guaranteed. Except for 3+ million. Other than that minute detail, Almendola got a 2 year guaranteed contract.
