It’s all good brother. Uruguay/Cavani were much more clinical. And Portugal couldn’t break down their defense. Good game for neutrals.

Thanks bro. Was rooting for a Portugal vs Brazil matchup. That was a winnable match from Portugal but just didn’t have that extra gear. I am nervous about Mexico. Brazil needs to play well.

Funny how 4 minutes of extra time turned into 6 minutes for absolutely no reason.

I haven't been a participant in this thread, but I have to just say what an odd World Cup this has been.

I am going to Germany later in the week and I had thought that maybe taking in a match with a bunch of Germans might have been fun. I've got no idea what to expect now...I think I'll avoid German World Cup coverage. It'll probably even make me suicidal.

As for Portugal...yeah...tough loss for sure.

As with Portugal, Spain didn't get the VAR assistance they got in group stage from FIFA and got beat. So satisfying. Not gonna fix this WC, it still sucks, but at least teams like them got what was coming to em.

Winner of England-Colombia have a great chance to get to the final. I def don’t think that’s a given for England. Colombia is deep.
