Interesting article from Curran regarding Brady and Gronk and their reps at practice this week and something that has crossed my mind.

What's 'best for the team' when it comes to Brady, Gronkowski workload at minicamp?

It wouldn't surprise me to see Brady and Gronk working with the 2's to start and really what's the big deal if they do.
The press will make it out to be some sort of punishment from Belichick but there is no coach that considers the team's interests only when making decisions regardless of what criteria we may or may not understand that to be.

Then again, with the press watching, maybe they are integrated quickly into their typical roles just to eliminate the discussion and questions.

I'll be curious to see and but not surprised either way.

We all (well, you know, almost all) love BB and Brady. They are the duo, the constant. They have lead their squads to many many championship moments.

Having said that, within that "love", you are (usually) either team BB or team Brady.

I'm team BB. He is the boss and the teacher. Whatever he decides is best (whether it is to be consistent, to do what he feels is best for the team...) is what I am hoping for. I trust him.

Reports on the radio were that Brady was getting snaps with the first team.

I don't buy into that crap. No offense but that sounds like high school crap.
I have big-time respect and admiration for both. Patriots would not have achieved the same level of greatness minus either one of them.
There is no either/or. They're both integral to the Patriots.
Personally, I'm sick of all this soap opera ********.

Who's the 1st team LT today?

I think they should mess with the press i.e. Brady shows up in a walking boot or Gronk in a red no contact jersey...just to stir it up a bit. Have BB reply when they ask "that's what you get when you are not prepared for OTAs".

I yell at all of them! Faster! Quicker!

Kinda ticks em off.

It is a good thing that I am almost impossible to catch.

My opening was “love both”. It’s not high school. It’s human nature for people to think more highly of one vs another - even if it’s about equal.

What is MORE high school, admitting one is slightly more responsible or saying “they are both equal” ? I think saying “both” is much more childish. My two cents.

Really? Human nature? Maybe among 14 year old girls. Check that. That's an insult to 14 year old girls. My 14 year old daughter has more sense than that. Have you done some scientific research on the subject? Or even taken a poll?
Pretty much every poster I respect on this board hasn't shown preference for either one.
What you're saying is juvenile.
Brady,BB, Gronk,Kraft- they are ALL on the same side. There's only ONE side. The Patriots. All this BS you're hearing from the least credible media sources is baloney. BB and TB have and always had, a very strong relationship. It hasn't changed. Ditto Gronk and BB.
Don't be so gullible

Dude. It's human nature. Someone needs to stick a pin in you for all that air you've puffed up into your chest over this simple concept. Some people put more behind the coach than the player. Some vice versa. You don't do either, we get it

"Some people". Yes. Majority of people? Human nature? I call ********. Sounds like you're both trying to project your own biases on other people to make you feel better about yourselves.

I dont understand why a patriot fan would even consider choosing a side.

DJ Andelman on the 1’s and 2’s

Yesterday while listening to the radio, they were trying desperately to create some controversy.. sorry Bertram et al, but BB did not let that happen.. he did what was best for the team...

No matter how many times they replay BB's answers, it was pretty much the same.. no hidden messages yesterday or examination of the inflection in his voice...

I enjoy chicken fried rice. I love lobster. While preferring lobster, I'm still a big fan of the rice.

Has the "1st team" every been clearly established? It seems very early for that anyways.
