So nobody has Etling as their binky o_O

I'm on Tom's side even if this is over pseudo science.

He has given everything for this team and taken ridiculously team-friendly deals for almost 2 decades now. He sees his window closing and believes this system is the key to keeping people healthy and on the field because he thinks he's lived it.

He watches as Edelman and Mitchell are both lost for the season in the preseason (Yeah we didn't know about Mitchell at the time but that's how it panned out.

He watches as Hightower is lost for the season.

And he thinks "I bet if they were doing TB12 they would have made it all season long." Then he watches as his coach neuters the team's secondary by taking away our 2nd best corner due to what is almost certainly a personal conduct issue and Belichick plays a hardline with that ****.

Now you tell me, if you really put yourself in Brady's shoes, that you wouldn't be pissed that after all that sacrifice that the team would forbid other players from doing TB12?

I love Belichick, I forgive him for whatever happened with Malcolm. But I can totally get where Brady is coming from on this one.
Edelman WAS doing TB12.

Yeah but think about all the paragraphs I just saved myself from.

If it isn't unsaid in genuine colloquial fnord does it in fact count as being saved?

It seems our HOF QB is in the throes of a mid-life crisis. 2018 could be a wild ride.

He's pissed off with his boss, something none of us has ever had to deal with.

Well, since Belichick isn’t going anywhere, he better learn to deal with it. He could start by showing up to work. Something most of us have to deal with every day,

OTAs are voluntary, not required.

Of course it doesn't matter in the big picture in terms of his performance. At the same time we don't have to talk about Brady being the epitome of a team first player anymore because if anything he has proven that when push comes to shove he does care about other things more than "the team". Which is fine and his right.. but lets bury this myth.

Him doing something for 17 years in a row and skipping one year does not create a mythical attitude.

Those 17 years were real and he was a huge part of what happened during those 17 years. In fact no one has done more in 17 years than Tom Brady has. So whatever he did or how he did it was not a myth rather it was historically real.

Why not this year? I don't know but I'm not going to build a freaking narrative that negates what that dude has done over the last 17 years.

Come on man.

Too late.

I seriously doubt that Brady will suffer Any wear & tear on his body during these OTAs.

But that concern has never been the point of the matter anyway.

Just to point out the obvious, which is that players do get hurt during these sessions (not that such means players should all avoid them, but just to note that it happens):

If the initial report about Hunter Henry‘s knee injury is correct, the Chargers may have to rethink their farewell to Antonio Gates.

The Chargers have announced that Henry tore his ACL during Tuesday’s OTA practice.

Henry was reportedly not touched before getting hurt while running during a drill. Henry, a 2016 second-round pick, caught 45 passes for 579 yards and four touchdowns last year and has 12 touchdowns over his first two seasons.

Hunter Henry tore his ACL on Tuesday

Not surprisingly, given their recent history, it's the Chargers already losing players to injury.
