lol why are you watching espn in the first place?

If you want a national NBA perspective what are your other options, you can only watch the 20 minute NESN highlights so many times especially if your trying to ignore any thoughts about the Bruins chances.

i love marcus. but ill take scary terry. hes a better all around player imo.
Scary is a better player no question but in addition he's under team control for 3 more years so when you add those up he would net more in a trade than Smart

I would like to Scary design a tshirt where he's dressed like a nightclub Rodney Dangerfield clutching at his tie and saying I get no respect.

I admire Roziers business instincts and how professional and entertaining his post game PCs have been,

Especially compared to another 24 year Philly player who is related to an older Philly native.

What's really scary is how good these C's will be next year. If Kyrie and Gordon are close to 100%, yikes!!! They'd have to be the preseason favorites to win it all.

I saw a hot take about swapping Irving for Leonard straight up. Not so crazy given the emergence of Rozier. No I am not saying he is as good as Irving.

Yeah, it's crazy.

Watching the game on ESPN was a real eye opener for me, for 48+ minutes Doris and the other dude gently massaging the testicles of Embid and Simmons... 48 minutes of "foreplay". ESPN sucks....

  1. People pretty much always claim their teams are not fairly represented
  2. Irving isn't playing
  3. The NBA is marketed around its stars, and Embid/Simmons is the star pairing as of now, not Tatum/Brown

Thought ESPN was announcing the game.. not the NBA.

Guess you listened to that game with different ears than I did, I thought the announcers sucked and were biased.. it is not that the Celtics were not fairly represented, they called something much different than what I saw on the Telly...

"Trust the Process"

I can't believe I'm thanking ESPN's Stephan A/ Smith for balancing out the coverage with his 5 minute rant against the Sixers even though twice he said in all my 25 years of coaching I have never seen such bad........

Heard most of what Stephan Smith said.. it was "refreshing" after listening to Doris and Pasch, he took Brett Brown to school again and again.

ESPN markets stars, too, as anyone who's ever watched ESPN already knows. When Kyrie plays, he gets his two hours of fellatio. Like it or not, fair or not, Tatum and Brown are not the stars that Embid and Simmons are, at the moment. Last year, when I.T. was the flavor of the month, his testicles never had a drop of dirt on them for more than a second before some media member was licking them clean.

if you want bias verbal diarrhea then watch that sh-t. I avoid ESPN because its complete garbage. ESPN is the sports version of CNN. i tune into the NBA network for my national perspective.

why trade him? just let Marcus walk if you have to. i would love to keep both but that's unlikely

I don't want to get rid of him either but I don't see them keeping him as long as Kyrie is here.

Marcus and Scary have nothing to do with each other.

why not? he can come off the bench. he can still get plenty of playing time.

I hadn't watched the Celtics on a regular basis since Bird was playing, but the Celtics were intriguing this year with Kyrie, Tatum, Brown... so I tuned in and watched most of the games and really enjoyed the way they played hard, especially on defense, and watching Tatum, Brown and Rozier really improve and gain more confidence as the year went on.

Their playoff run has been amazing as they've show real grit and confidence. Adding Kyrie back into the mix next season along with Hayward and a first round pick will only make them even tougher to beat.

Rozier is an RFA after next season

He’s not under C’s control for the next 3 years

This playoff is making him worth more and more his low cost will provide a very nice return
