rumor: Brady not expected to be a regular participant in offseason program

The same exact things were said about Parcells and Tom Landry.

The NFL is no place for people with hurt feelings.

Really?

Because part of that recent documentary was about BB and hurt feelings, and how BB and Parcells were estranged for years.

These reports, coupled with Kraft’s comments about his contract are making me further believe that he’s done after 2019.

Well, from Brady's perspective, this seems to be what BB did/said last year:

  • "You have to be all in, but you can't have your trainer helping you do that the way you used to, and I'm going to belittle people who use his methods"
  • "You have to do everything it takes to win, but I'm benching a starting CB for the SB, so 500 yards and 33 points isn't going to be enough."

If that's the path your HC has decided to take (again, from what seems to have happened, and from what Brady's perspective would likely see), why would you keep putting yourself out?

Then just ****ing quit and or ask for a trade instead of throwing a hissy fit.

If he thinks the grass is greener somewhere else (home with family or playing for another team) then stop talking and just go through with it.

First offseason without JG breathing down on his neck and suddenly the good soldier becomes a diva. I cant wait for Giardi to jerk off over this in his unhealthy obsession with JG.

Trade Brady and Gronk as a package ...

There .... someone had to say it. o_O

0.0% chance that Bill is the one that’s wrong in all of this, eh?

Do you ever think before you post on issues like this?

This was the year that BB kicked Guerrero out.
This was the year that BB benched his starting CB in the SB

The moment you say "First offseason...", you demonstrate that you're not a serious poster on the issue.

Agree. It's not like BB has suddenly changed his methods. If it's time to move on, then move on.

BB is doing his thing for soon 20 years not changing anything. Brady suddenly -- after saying repeatedly for years in interviews that he wants to be coached hard -- starting to have issues with it.

Pretty clear where to look at.

Not really. Unless you believe a guy that's been a good soldier and has always been there when the team needed him suddenly became a diva overnight for no reason whatsoever. And the TE on the team decided to join him. It's pretty clear which direction to point the finger in. Especially if you read Amendola's recent thoughts on the matter.

That's simply not true

The SB has nothing to do with anything. But go on with that pointless tangent and waste your time.

If Guerrero openly creates an issue where players question the authority of some staff members than he needs to be either put the in charge of the entire operation or kicked out.

BB decided to go with established methods and removed him from messing with "the chain of command" to go with a Belichickian military analogy.

He became a diva coincidentally around the same time where he started to seriously market his second passion ( TB12) and opening up to the public (more ads, facebook series..) in order to position himself for what he most probably will do after retirement.

And then Guerrero started a mutiny inside the weight room and got himself rightfully kicked out.

The timing is not a coincidence.

Amendola publicly made it clear that he doesn't agree with you, and Brady's done a 180 from before the SB to after, and made pointed commentary about purpose. But nobody knows this situation better than Luuked, I guess.

A closer look at Alex Guerrero’s involvement with the Patriots

Guerrero has been around since before Brady. He's been heavily involved for years, and this was the year where that got slapped won. For you to talk about this season as the "First offseason..." is asinine.

That's simply not true

What is it then that he changed? Because for years we have been fed with stories about the Patriots culture of accountability where anyone gets chewed out and is expected to do their job.

Hel, Mayo just said exactly those things on a recent QuickSlants.

What did I miss?

So we are forgetting all the apocalyptic reports about how bad the situation in Foxboro is that came out around the beginning of the playoffs?

There was a gigantic ridiculous thread about it in January in which you took part.

Point being that the issues Dola, Gronk and Brady bringing up about how it is "not fun" have been hanging around for a while and are not something that was caused by the SB.

Did the way BB didn't explain coaching decisions in the SB leave a bad taste for many? Sure.. but it would have not mattered in the big picture because the issues were already pre-existing.

What? Brady has been marketing TB12 for years now and has been relevant on social media since at least 2013 (and became really active in 2014). In all of those years, he's been a good soldier. He'll probably come back and be a good soldier this year. But, for all some want to deny it, there IS a problem in the locker room. Amendola had a problem with the way the Super Bowl, and Butler's benching was handled. Brady and Gronk seem to have an issue with being told how to train outside of team workouts. These three guys didn't just up and have problems overnight. They were caused. The main thing/person that these three issues have in common is BB.

As for Guerrero starting a mutiny in the weight room... source?

I know all of this. Fact is that Guerrero is respected in the building as a person who helps with recovery of soft tissue issues. BB and the staff has at times even send players to him for those purposes. The issue is him making people questioning the strength and conditioning program and that is what got him removed from the building to emphasize that Moses Cabrera is the one in charge of it.

How do I know this? Again, Mayo said it on QuickSlants.
