Rumored trade offers for Gronk

All of this is simply a way to force the rest of the league to consider about trading for Gronkowski, and learning that they wasted countless hours they could have been spending on draft scouting. It's all a game...

Butler was fine or else they wouldn't have had him suit up that day. To say Butler would offer nothing that day is disrespectful. I'd rather accept a loss with with my best players on the field than Jordan Richards playing more than Butler.

Not that I think BB is overrated, but Tom Brady's greatness has made things much easier for BB. The only reason why he gets away with his nonsense is because they win so much. Give BB a mediocre QB from the start of 2001 and I guarantee things would be different.

But keeping Brady on the roster and starting Brady over Bledsoe was a BB decision. A very controversial decision at the time. So it couldn't be all Brady because BB chose to make it Brady.

Bill doing whatever he wants has produced historic results. There should be no repercussions.

Nobody should beyond criticism. Nobody should be beyond repercussions for his errors, either.

True... Bill is not perfect however certainly is not stupid...

I'll bet BB thinks about decisions he could have made during any one of the three SB losses. Actually I'll bet all players on a SB losing team think about decisions they could have made during the game.

But then again most coaches don't have to think about the decisions they've made during a SB loss because they've never been there.

Sorry I disagree. You've oversimplified the equation imo. Criticism is fair but repercussions would be ridiculous. We're talking about a SB loss and not a 3-13 season.

Yep, the whole thing is one big ploy to force opposing GMs to waste an hour or two of their time in the months of March and April. You’ve got it all figured out. I bet at least 2-3 low level teams’ lunch breaks went wasted, yesterday.

That wily Belichick. Playing chess again, while all of the other 31 goofs waste their time sitting on their hands, drooling, and looking stupid. I bet Gronk was in on it the whole time with his troll tweets and leaked media reports. They probably planned it together walking down the tunnel after the SB loss.

More like 2 teams preparing lowball offers is more like it.

Btw, to me it sounds more like the sportswriters are fed up with the Patriots and printing anything derogative, speculation or otherwise to paint a negative atmosphere to break this thing up.

What is this garbage? Web page kept re-directing to a phony Amazon sweepstakes.

Repercussions doesn't have to mean fired.

I get that crap all of the time when looking at these articles on my phone. For a quick fix, I simply hit the “back” button on my browser, but I generally have to hit it twice to get back to the original article, and even then, you’ve got to read quickly before it pops back up. Sometimes, I’ll have to do that 5 times in a row just to finish an article.

For a long term approach, clearing out your cache will sometimes help for a little while. Unfortunately, it’s only a matter of time before it starts happening again, though. Oddly enough, the only time that I usually see these are reading sports articles from the same few sources. ProJo, Herald, etc.

Ok. Let me set the table. I think you are one of the most intelligent posters on the forum. Pretty sure most would agree. Me? I'm your average blue collar guy. So in my perspective I believe that BB has earned more than enough merit to forgo any "repercussions" from fans or from management. He is or never will be above criticism but repercussions seems ridiculous after all he has delivered or been a part of.

BTW...off topic...but bad news for every one of us...Amazon has just got the exclusive contract with the United States government to store and implement all military/industrial information across all governmental platforms. You will soon be seeing Bezos pop up daisies in your freakin' gardens. It's not a "Brave New World", it's a Knave New World.

Well, sh*t.

I just got around to clicking the link. It's all based on a tweet from Breer.

I coulda saved several minutes if I'd known that in the first place. OTOH, several posts brought the funny, so it wasn't a total waste.

Wait, what? Please tweet this because I don’t understand it otherwise.
