Cowherd just did a response list

1. Mayweather
2. Bolt
3. Phelps
4. Sarena
5. Federer
6. Tiger
7. Lebron
8. Messi
9. Brady
10. Bonds

I like this list better

That list has a bunch of problems, too.

This was posted and I came here and saw no thread and was happy we weren't jumping to feed trolls.

I am disappointed with all of you now.

YOU have to be the most dominant athlete of the past 2 years, fnard....you get yourself out of more tight spaces than a greased boa constrictor..

It's got Mayweather at the top, above Phelps and Bolt
It's got Federer above Tiger
It's Got Messi and Bonds on it
It's got Lebron above Brady

Mayweather fought the best of his generation and never lost. I’d easily have him one. Boxing requires more athletic traits than sprinting and swimming and it’s more punishing. The fact that he got knocked down once in his careeer is pretty ridiculous. And this wasn’t a Marciano thing where it was a weak era and he was only on top for a handful of fights.

Federer above Tiger is time. Tiger sucked for half the 20 years.

Bonds was the most dominant athlete in baseball since the 70’s. If anything him being 10 is a result of steroids.

To me Lebron and Brady are an either or. Brady’s definitely the most dependent athlete as far as other teamates on this list. Mayweather, Bolt, Sarens, Federer, Phelps, and Tiger are individual sport athletes. Bonds hits by himself. Lebron and Messi have less teammates and play both offense and defense.

that’s just not true

His last major win was 2008.

...but, but..."Chicken Parm you taste so good" was classic! Classic I tell you!

Anybody who can look at Tiger Woods...observe how he dominated his competition for years during his prime, especially in Major Championships...see the work he put into being in top physical condition and the toll the game took on his body...and say that he doesn't belong on a list of top/dominating athletes of the last 20 years...either thinks Professional Golf is still played by overweight guys who smoke and have a brew or two during a round or is someone who just plain doesn't understand sports.

The last professional golfer who, for a while at least, got away with winning major championships while out of shape, smoking and drinking was John Daly...and his is a story of a talent wasted if there ever was one...we will never know how good he could have been.

Or they think a list talking about the last 20 years should focus more on athletes who have been dominant for the majority of that timeframe and not half of it.

Also not a single person said Tiger didn’t deserve to be on the list. Some of you guys need to learn to read better

Which is why I a said he hadn’t been good for the last ten years and not the ten years before that.....

Wrong.

From 2007 to 2017 in 114 starts he had 25 wins, 2 Majors, 14 top 10 finishes in Majors and 54 Top 10 finishes overall and made about $42m in purses.

For comparison, over the last 10 years and 245 (more than twice than Tiger) starts Bubba Watson has 2 Majors with 4 Top 10s, 11 PGA wins and 59 Top 10 finishes.

Now, if you want to say Tiger sucked after 2013 you would not be wrong.

His last major was 2008. I mean yeah if you go last ten years (IE the criteria I listed) it looks different.
