I always think these guys are going to value legacy over being a millionaire 70 times over instead of 60 times, but obviously being a fan is different than negotiating a contract.

I'm guessing that his agent released that the Vikings have reached out in order to get the Saints to up their offer. I still don't think it's possible he leaves New Orleans, but you never know.

The Jets worry me more with Brees than the Bills.

The Jete have a boat load of cap space but they have just as much need, they are probably too far away from a real run for Brees' taste at this point in his career. Besides the Jete would find a way to Jet it up, it's who they are and what they do. Buffalo isn't all that far from being legit, again the cold and the division make it nothing but a hypothetical. As it is Brees is used to playing at least 10 games a year indoors, he probably isn't chomping at the bit at the thought of coming to the AFCE.

At this stage in his career, Brees would be a fool to go to any team that plays its home games in an outdoor stadium in the north.
