For almost nothing, realistically speaking

True of everyone but Talib, who does cost cap space. But they still have $35m+ and can let Talib go with no dead money next year if he doesn't perform, and next year's the year they have to pony up for Donald (and they'll get more dead money relief for Ogletree and Austin next year).

I was talking assets, not cap space, obviously. But, even with cap space, it's a win for the Rams, who save by not having to either franchise Trumaine Johnson or pay him a big money deal in order to keep him around.

Something I didn’t expect to say at this time last year: the NFC West may be the overall strongest division in 2018.

Peters and Talib. Two lockdown nutcases.

Either going to be really good together or really bad.

Welp, Sherman it is.

Teams can usually get away with one nutcase on a team. Two or more usually spells big time trouble.

If they pick up a fat ass at DT, that’s probably the best defense in football next season.

Quick Question - Over in the UK, in Football (Soccer) if someone wants another player the player himself decides if he wants to play for that team and if he doesn't he won't sign any forms for that team so it won't go through....

In Talibs case would this not matter?

Not if he's under contract. The player doesn't get to pick his employer if he's under contract.

Yeah a pity the Pats couldn't get at least one of those guys. The move weakens Denver though!

Don't worry everyone, we have dueling special teams aces Brandon bolden and Brandon king locked up...

Aaron donald isn’t fat enough?

They need a run-stuffer to pair with him. Their run defense was a weakness last season, ranking 28th in the NFL.

Agreed and considering the way they are loading up in the secondary teams are going to continue testing that run defense, making it a priority to shore it up.

Ah okay, didn't know if he could just flat out refuse to do so.
Well, the player could refuse to report, but then he would't get paid or accrue seasons towards the completion of his contract. And could be fined.

Their LBs are not great anymore...that’s another problem area.
