The Brilliance of Tom Brady

Maybe just my emotions getting the best of me, but last night showed me that TB12 > BB for all the Pats success.

Top shelf coach + Top shelf QB

With the outlier of Gibbs in Washington, history shows that you can win a title without one or the other, but that you can't sustain SB-level excellence without both. Just as we don't need to get into this sort of question with regards to Noll/Bradshaw, Walsh/Montana, Lombardi/Starr and the like, we don't need to get into the question with regards to BB/TB. The greatness is, in the jargon, complimentary football.

Good point. Just really upset from yesterday's game needed someone to blame. 600 yards of offense and still lose unbelievable

I hear you. It's a bitter pill to swallow, no question.

I can't wait for next season...
He'll comeback stronger.

Brady is more the reason for the success though clearly.

In one game, Brady is the reason for success.

BUT, don't underestimate the continuity. This is the weapon the Patriots have used to bash people over the head. And that's to Belichick's credit for establishing a culture and getting buy-in from the players. Belichick's value is not so much Xs and Os, but in establishing a culture and in making sure he prepares harder (on many more occasions than not).

If you had to give me one guy for one game for two teams of equal talent? I'd take Brady. But that continuity is a huge weapon.

Anyone can think of a better performance in a losing effort? Just disgraceful that this defense couldn't come up with a big stop.

Yeah, that is her instagram picture. You can tell how much Brady hates losing. GOAT. Plain and simple GOAT.

I used to subscribe to the Brady isn't Brady without Belichick and vice versa however, after watching what Brady has done for the Patriots and his individual performance in the Super Bowl, I'm fully on board with Belichick isn't Belichick without Brady. The legacy starts and ends with Brady. What a privilege and honor it has been to watch the maestro.

Put brady on the broncos and they likely win a super bowl.

Or complementary football, too.

Yes, either one. That's on me for posting too fast and letting the editing suffer. I'll leave it up for others to mock, as desired, and thanks for pointing it out.

Brady had the game of his f.uckijg life (which REALLY says something) and it wasn’t enough. If I were him I’d be devastated.
"How many more f*cking pay cuts do I need to take?"

We all need something to smile about today - even if it comes at someone else's expense - as long as it isn't mean-spirited.

I had a vision of this scene from Princess Bride when I read the typo...
