Does anyone else feel like we're losing this one?

I get the feeling it’s gonna be a close one.

Which side we end up on is what I’m not sure about.

Nope. The only way we lose is by playing such a bad game that we have no business winning the Super Bowl anyway. We will score no less than mid-twenties against Jacksonville and Bortles is terrible unless he is putting easily managed situations. Having to outscore Brady is an awesome easily manage situation. I expect something like 27 to 10 with each Breaking open no later than very early in the third quarter.

IDK, as good as the jags looked last week against the steelers, they looked just as bad against the bills. mustering up 10points on a defense we scored 23 and 37 on this year.

I'm really not sure what team we are going to see. My guess would be somewhere in the middle..

I cant imagine Bill having as bad a gameplan as Mike Tomlin did to scheme against bortles/fournette..

Gasper seconds ago on 98.5..."unnamed Jacksonville player said BEFORE the Pittsburgh game that they (Jacksonville) fear the Pittsburgh game more than a game Vs New England. Said player thinks they match up better Vs NE than they do Vs Pittsburgh"...the player feels NE is an easier match-up... This concerns me now... And I do recall back in camp w those stupid ****ing joint practices there were lots of reports about the Jacksonville secondary locking down NE receivers...

It doesn't surprise me at all the a Jacksonville player would totally underestimate the Patriots TEAM. The Steelers have some great individual offensive talent; the Patriots are a TEAM. That is why the Patriots no name defense has given up less points than Sacksonville over the past 3 months.

They also underestimate Bill Belichick and what he can do scheme-wise. The Patriots don't give up all those first downs on the first drive like Pittsburgh did - nor do they make the crazy situational decisions Tomlin and the Steelers coaching staff make (pass the ball or run a sweep on 4th and less than 1; onside kick with 2:20 and not take timeouts before the 2 minute warning).

The Patriots are easy to underestimate when you look at individual players and I think that's what's happening.

The confidence here it reminds me of '07. Oh how can we lose. There wasn't as much confidence in '16 or '14 not to mention '01.

Sure we would because as of now we don’t know it isn’t just a cut on the knuckle.

That's true, but I'd have to believe that a cut on the knuckle wouldn't require an X-Ray or an MRI.

The point is we really have no idea the extent of the injury and if it will have any effect at all.
Also true - but it's obviously hard not to wonder or be a little concerned because of it heading into Sunday's game, so I can understand why some people are.

I'm a little surprised that nobody has brought up the obvious hero arc here..Brady adds to his legend, overcoming injury to lead the Pats yet again...mangled hand but he throws for 270 & 2 tds, backed by a feisty defense, Pats win 30-13...

Come on, guys, it writes itself. Hell, I actually feel BETTER about this game now.

It's baffling how a player can underestimate a 5x SB Champ, winner 2of 3 and7 straight CCG appearances.

They are just inexperienced kids

2007 when we played your Ravens?

Last year, I projected a 37-17 victory over the Falcons. It was the most sure I ever felt about a Super Bowl. Pick six aside, I had that one more or less nailed, just not in the order anyone was expecting.

I was hoping for blizzard-like conditions, but now that Brady has damaged the thumb on his Throwing hand, I am now hoping for more seasonable weather so
that it doesn't hurt as much when he throws or is hit on it.

IF Brady is on point, I think we win by 10-14. If our defense can do a better job forcing turnovers we can blow these guys out.

Hoyer is not as bad as you think. He is not great, and hopefully Brady is playing. But it is one game, I think the Pats could pull it off with Hoyer or less than 100% Brady for sure.
Hmmmm, if Brady plays well and the game is definitely over with 7-8 minutes to go; do we see Hoyer?

No matter what happens. We have Brady, there is always a chance no matter what.
